I guess it depends on where they are coming from. My definition of eating for pleasure when I first got here was to fix a bad day. I used food to make me feel better. Now my definition is to enjoy food that tastes good. That doesn't always mean it has to be a cheat meal or over done. But I do enjoy foods that taste good.…

Have the people your with keep you accountable. Maybe even ask them to serve you reasonable portions instead of making your own plate. A sample of this and that wont leave you feeling guilty. Get some exercise in before you go and eat healthy the rest of the day. Dont snack. And dont go hungry

I "roast" it like mentioned here. I have made mashed potatoes out of it and also soup. Love it. I usually steam them with broccoli, celery and dash of garlic powder. We made "popcorn" out of it the other day by roasting and sprinkling Cajun seasoning out of it.
