I don't understand how if eating low cal didn't work, being forced to eat low cal will? Weight loss surgery is proof that if you just ate less you would lose weight it seems. I personally think its a terrible idea unless someone is incredibly morbidly obese and their life is in immediate danger. There are so many…

From my own experience, headphones help. Go run/walk, keep the same route every day and just force yourself. It will get easier if you have a routine. Also, try getting out very early when very few people are around.

I did it as a single mom when I worked 90hrs a wk and literally didn't sleep on Sundays. It needs to be the ultimate priority.

I believe in the 80/20 mentality. I also have a really hard time meeting my protein while keeping my fat/carbs/sodium down if I'm not eating pretty clean. I care because as someone with a lot of weight to lose (and not a formally fit person) I am not interested in looking like a deflated sack of skin and care more about…

Your metabolism will slow to support life at that level of calories. If you want to stoke the fire, eat your BMR PLUS to NET at least 1200. At your height you will likely need much more. You might gain a few over a few weeks but then will drop. Look up a BMR and TDEE calculator after searching the forums to truly…

Wait, is low carb under 100g a day? Will that help at all? Curious.

Or.... your initial loss was mostly water because you eat very low cal/low sodium usually?

Whelp.....do you want to be skinny or do you want to be healthy? If you have lost that much weight without exercise and so low cal, I imagine your body composition and muscle tone are not ideal.

I'm just easing into it starting tonight. I have a feeling that the best solution will be the same- 2 accounts. Will be easy once foods are stored into your daily plan.

1 ounce is 50 cals and plenty for a serving IMO

What bothers me about it, is that it sounds like he is offering you a warning rather than concern out of love. Ask him what he would do if you decided not to lose weight? What if you gain another 20? I wonder what he is saying between the lines, that he will cheat on you? that he is and this is his excuse? That's just…

I'm not sure where you got that but I'm pretty sure my Polar is a 7 (if not then 6) and it does indeed have settings for Vo2Max and resting HR. Along, a "low end" brand would not be Pilar, the highest rater HRM's available and cost $150-$300. My irst HRM had almost no settings and cost a whopping $35 (also said I burned…

I'll put it like this, if you are 300 pounds you are most likely going to end up with some seriously flabby arms. I speak from experience, would you rather have toned and slightly muscular (BTW at the gym you are seeing pumped up muscles, that's what happens AS you are lifting weights- earlier that day they would have…

You are treating yourself as though you are obese when in fact you are well within normal range for weight and body composition. People who are obese CAN drop a lot of weight by eating extremely low calorie + working out. It's not recommended or endorsed by myself but they will drop a lot of initial weight and the scale is…
