I stop it as soon as my workout is done. But my heart rate stays elevated for a little while afterward too. I guess technically it's still burning more calories than at rest, but I don't feel right about keeping the meter running so to speak.

My 8 year old nephew runs 5Ks all the time and beat me handily. I don't think it'll be an issue at all but any concerns can probably be answered by a quick call to the doctor's office. Good luck!

Water weight loss is very short term, especially if you eat foods that are high in salt content and then drink a lot of water afterwards. A small room with a TV will work just fine. You can expect some hard work. I couldn't keep up when I did it the first time. But it'll get better with time. Now I'm doing P90X, and 30DS got me in shape to do that.

You're making me hungry. :-) I love Snickers bars or Reeses peanut butter cups, but weight watchers has some low cal ones also that are pretty good.
