  • First, losing more than 2 lbs a week, isn't very healthy. It shouldn't matter if it takes a month longer to reach your goal if you are healthy.   • I personally have no idea, but to make an educated guess, I would use the HRM. It is constantly checking your HR and will account for your weight, ect. Most machines I use only calculate calories off time, weight, and speed during exercise. I hope someone knows the real answer!

  • Exercise helps build a strong immune system. And the sweating will cause a rise in body temperature which could help kill bugs in your body. I too am struggling with a cold of sorts but exercising always makes me feel better. Know your body though, and if all you really need is sleep, go to bed. Feel better soon!
