I wonder does time of day, pre/post workout factor in, water weight all that stuff also have to be considered
-
God no...i have a spin bike at home I couldn't do that to a crowd at a gym.
-
I gave made chicken soup from scratch and it is pretty easy...i just feel like I couldn't be bothered with it at all
-
Oddly enough my Heart Rate monitor says I have burned more calories on a 55 minute walk than a 55 minute spin bike class. Just keep your food calories in less than your allotted amount coupled with exercise and you will lose weight.

Crustless pizza

Paper thin slices of apple and cinnamon or mulling spices in cheesecloth pouch in a big pitcher you can drink all day. Or....take a big pitcher and add in herbal tea in a tea steeper or herbal tea bags about 2. The water can be hot tap water to release the flavor quicker or cold.

See...now that's the sort or information I was hoping for with my initial question!! Thank you! I did find a replacement strap and in doing some comparison shopping I luckily got it fir $46.95 free shipping from Heart Rate Monitors USA. DICKS SPORTING GOODS wanted $75. Now it seems things are more accurate in charting…
-
Yeah, I have the ft7 needed a replacement strap and now I hopefully record more accurately.

So many people told me, give up pizza (it was my son's birthday party) or the occasional night out for Chinese food and my daughter was selling girl scout cookies....you can have it....just not all of it and not all at once. You have to live life a little. Being more mindful is hard, but knowing what each food costs in…

Guess now that I know better, I can't ignore it. Knowing better will refocus me into doing better.
-
Well I spin and I jog mostly...bike today said 646 calories...and no that my HR replacement strap arrived I used that in conjunction and it said I burned 465 calories....pretty big discrepancy.
-
Ugh.....this seems too complex for a simple question of what device does what and which one seems to be most accurate. I am not trying to be a guru on this crap...I just need to invest in something decent that seems legit
-
So if machines aren't accurate and monitors aren't accurate....how do you come up with a number to put in to calories burned from exercise?
-
I just wanted to know if a fit bit does what a HR monitor does and is accurate. Which one us more accurate and the best representation of the workout you put in

I put on pants!

Lots if stores sell a single plug in electric burner. Get yourself a sauté pan and find a store in the area you can get to to shop. You can do a lot in a tiny toaster oven even in little minifridge storage space. Real food is more substantial and satisfying. No meal plan with healthy options or local fast food place with…

You should feel content...not stuffed but not achingly hungry either...I don't want to do a pm after dinner snack so I either do all my meals a little later than traditionally done and if I need to have something I go for protein or just go to bed earlier. Sleep is important in making good food choices the next time around…

Basically with PCOS I do low/healthy carbs. Cut white breads rices and noodles. Eggs are a big staple for me lean meats and low sodium soups. Fats tend to run higher sometimes when you go lower carb. Atkins has a great cookbook. Lots at low carb websites. Shrimp and chicken in great marinades and stir fry veggies. One…

Pants I had bagged and ready for a donation on a bedroom chair taunted me to try one more time to try putting them on. THIS time they zipped. I COULD breathe and it was more of a mini muffin top vs a whole loaf of pudge. Not too bad!
-
That is an amazing observation. I can't wait for a new mattress...maybe that is my discomfort in this process. I have a NEW goal other than smaller pants, something to look forward to. Plus a huge luxury

Unless you do nothing all day 800 calories is too little. Maybe you are starving yourself so of course upping the intake would initially cause a gain until you level out.
-
No...i always leave some...some days more some days less.

Ha! If only....my husband is 6' and weighs 133....I am 5'6" and 223....we are like that nursery rhyme Jack Sprat could eat no fat....but ours should be Jack Sprat could gain no fat, his wife can't seem to get lean. Yet I exercise and endure for miles and do 5ks while my husband days..."hell no"

Thanks so much! Very helpful info
-
So should I measure more spots now and where besides adding in thigh and chest.
-
Thank you! I have moved forward there for sure!
-
Thanks...honestly I can't do crazy things like that anymore...at 41 with years of Atkins and slim fast and the hot dog diet and the grapefruit diet and prescription diet pulls that revved up my heart but not the weight loss and 3 kidney procedures...i have to do this with real food and exercise. I have cut back on rice…

Ok I will see if I am on auto or if I have to manually reset things
