The comments are generally from a good place, but it does make me uncomfortable when others comment on my weight unless it's close friends or family. Someone I run into a lot through work has taken to telling me if I lose any more weight I'm "going to blow away", I think because I met him right after I had my daughter, so…

If you really don't want to fit any sweets in to your day, you can always do sugar free gum like Extra has really fun yummy flavors. Gives you a sweet taste and keeps your jaw busy

If you have everything you need, prepping for the week shouldn't take more than an hour or so, start to finish. Cook multiple things simultaneously - put the meat and/or potatoes in the oven first, they will take the longest. Put your rice on, while those are going, cut up your veggies and roast or steam them. Then as each…

Ooh and Ashley Horner @ashley.horner she is such an inspiration, just had a baby a few weeks ago and not afraid to show her post-baby body in a real light, even though her profession is in fitness training and modeling. The more I know about her, the more I like her. :star:

Unlike many people, I actually ended up gaining almost 8 pounds before my wedding, but I still have wonderful memories from it and I truly do love the pictures and how happy I looked, even if I wasn't at my peak physically. Now 6 years and one baby later, I am the happiest with my body I've ever been. It's all a journey -…

Right now on a cut I'm at 200g on my heavy lift days, 160g on lighter lift days, and 120g on my rest day.

Would love to have some more friends with open diaries on here!

We've got a local mexican place that does a stuffed avocado, it's literally a whole fresh avocado with the skins stuffed with shrimp and veggies/pico and the "meat" of the avocado sliced and on the plate. Or there's always taco salad minus the chips/taco bowl with the cheese, sauces, etc. on the side.

If I don't track my intake at all I sit right at 142lbs which is a 22.9 BMI. ETA: If I wasn't an active person or I was seriously injured, or if it was an "eat whatever I want whenever I want" situation, it would be much higher.

You saw me?! Don't judge, I'm documenting relaxing adventures for the youtubez!

This and stress can also cause some water retention.

The only BodyJam I know of is the Les Mills workout class that's kind of like Zumba. Are you meaning something like TurboJam? It's a beachbody thing, they never come out and say they're selling beachbody, it's always just "contact me for more info" kinda thing. ETA: Beachbody has "coaches", workouts, shakes, and often a…

In this situation, there's always the somewhat less mature but more satisfying reaction of smiling sweetly at him as he watches you dump all of it in the trash.

I do the barbell hip thrusts in my gym - when I first started them, I was surprised to find they weren't nearly as awkward as I was expecting them to be. I also do the donkey kicks (the second video) but I do them with the smith machine - major fail the first few times I tried those, but how else do you learn?

Added you :) I've got a major sweet tooth and usually have at least some chocolate every day, I'm embarrassed logging some of the stuff I eat, but I really want to have accurate numbers when I look back.

Your story is so amazing! I almost teared up at the end with your final race time! Great work, you look absolutely wonderful and happy :D

I really do think this just comes from a place of concern. They're happy for you, but may not know what is healthiest for you. My mother does the same, one minute saying how great I'm looking, the next (I think it must be something about the scales/weighing food, it freaks people out) saying that's how people become…

I think it depends on what your idea of "skinny" is. Some think of skinny as someone who's at a healthy weight, or even just smaller than they are. I used to aspire to be rail thin, the whole thinspo thing and all that, that's what comes to mind for me as skinny. So for me it used to be a compliment but now it's not - I…

Thank you. I guess I've known that I should probably do that but trying to avoid it for some reason - I've always been super healthy and never had to see a specialist before :persevere:

I actually don't know exactly how - I had increased my overall volume (went from consistent 3 days a week to 4-5) and I had an upper body day after which I had some pretty serious DOMS in my triceps but nothing alarming, went thru the same routine the next week, and a couple days after that my arm swelled up to twice its…

That's the first place that wears out on every pair of pants I have. I was not made to be a "thigh gap" girl lol

Great thread! Any recommendations for stretches/exercises for knee pain? I have been lifting for about 8 months and recently getting pain in one of my knees (it feels like the muscle/tendon/whatever along the back of my knee is super tight and painful). It often pops when I squat (although I have pretty "crackly" joints in…

I am not a "morning person", or a "night owl", I just like my sleep in general. BUT I know the only way I can get my workouts in consistently is if I do them at 5am. So I set my alarms (4:45, 4:50, 4:55) and when I started I only got up about 1/3rd of the time, but I just kept setting my alarms every morning, and now I get…
