Personal question: is it possible you're pregnant? I had horrible morning sickness through most of my pregnancy & usually crackers or bread was the only thing I could keep down for more than an hour. Ever since then, my nausea reaction has been very sensitive, especially to hunger where I never got nauseous before - this…

Alright, oso I finally went and got my very own tape measure like a big girl so the narrow part just under the ribcage/above the bellybutton is 29.5" Did well on some goals this past week, tracked everything throughout the weekend, got my lifting and cardio in. The water seems to be my weak spot, I'll be better this week!

Wow, ballsy. Go you.

Sumnerfan – I don’t think you would have to pick between the two to begin with, can you just do your bootcamp once or twice a week instead of 3 times? So you could do something like lift with the new rules program Monday & Friday, and then do your bootcamp on Wednesdays? Otherwise I do agree once you really get going with…

I understand the perspective, but I don't live by it. There's chemicals in so many things, I do my best to pick decent foods and I don't drink it every day, I'm realistic about the things I eat/drink and I don't stress about a nice dose of chemicals once in a while - I'm going to die in the end no matter what. Don't worry,…

In my profile pic? That's my phone, it's a beast :)

Haha, nice! Makes perfect sense, right?!

Great, thank you!

A full can is two servings, which would be 16 calories. I know it's not a huge deal, but I would rather know one way or another - on top of that I'm just curious how that all works or if they're fudging their numbers a bit...

Cool, it seemed like a natural transition for me because I'm not especially hungry in the mornings anyway... plus I feel like I'm preparing food and/or eating all freaking day long and it gets tiresome. I have started taking BCAAs before my workouts because I lift in the mornings to hopefully preserve more muscle. I have…

I just tell people the best exercise is the one that you'll stick with, but diet is #1. Then they usually start going on about how lucky I am that I have a fast metabolism and this green coffee extract they're thinking about trying and I just... can't.

I have no idea, I've actually never measured my waist before and the gal at the gym did it for me when I started the challenge there. She was like feeling where my hipbones were and finding the spot from there... are you just supposed to find the skinniest spot & that's your measurement? ...I guess looking at some of the…

Just a quick check-in. Met several mini-goals this week - Finished Stage 4 today, my BF% has gone from 24.5% in May of this year, to 20.5% ! Super excited about that! :D :D :D Really don't know what my "goal" BF% is, I guess I just want to continue improving as long as I can... Also deadlifting at 140lbs for 3 x 8!…

If my sister had come up to me when I was unmotivated & sad, and told me I was unmotivated & sad looking, it would have accomplished nothing more than to damage our relationship. I've got pretty thick skin, but my weight has always been a sensitive subject and I think it's that way for a lot of people, there's so many…

This guy is in college, uses flexible dieting (IIFYM) and has tons of videos on what he eats every day, workouts, etc. https://www.youtube.com/user/TimThebodeauFitness/videos

My weight fluctuates by about 3 lbs throughout the day. I can make the variance up to 4 or 5 lbs over the course of 24 hours if I really try. I weigh everyday, but only log weight changes every two weeks and I just use the number that I've seen the most consistently those last several days (I also try to make sure I'm…

I'm doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women and like it a lot. http://www.amazon.com/The-New-Rules-Lifting-Women/dp/1583333398 Also planning to start Stronglifts 5x5 http://stronglifts.com/5x5/ Those are the main two that come to mind, their overall goal is not to lose weight, so if you're eating at maintenance or above,…

I'm 5'6" 134lbs and eat at 1700cals a day. On lifting days I give myself an extra 150 cals to play with if I'm super hungry, I leave them on the table (so to speak) if I don't need them. I have been losing weight consistently at this number for the last 4 months and using the IIFYM approach. I think your diary for Tuesday…

From what I’ve seen on the feedback page, the bookmarks are only working in the regular forums and not in the groups right now… dna – I always love getting new gym stuff, it seems to revitalize things a bit B) samntha – I used to have a hard time with the bar on my back, but it’s gotten significantly better as I’ve gone…

I am in for losing an inch by Christmas! Weekly: 1. 72 oz water daily 2. 3 days lifting, 2 days cardio (I'm really bad about keeping up on my cardio) 3. Log everything accurately (easy at home, not so easy at family/friend functions) CW: 135 I can't measure at the moment, but when I get home, I'll update w/ my waist…
