Thinking about it in the long run is definitely a good idea. I won't always be a little overweight, but they'll probably always be *kitten* with such great lives that they have nothing better to do than to talk about me. Thank you, I'm really blessed because he's a healthy and happy baby too :)

Frozen blueberries. They're so handy and can go in anything :)

This is how I snack , except minus the greek yogurt part (just regular yogurt for me) since I don't like that stuff. I'd add celery, whatever fruit you have on hand. I always have frozen blueberries stashed away (add a tbsp of chocolate syrup and you have a great sweet snack/dessert fit for any sweet tooth).

I'm going to make this tonight with a slight substitution of pork loin center cut instead of the beef since that's what I have thawed in my fridge :) Thanks for sharing!

I had my first baby in December and am working on getting the weight off. I gained 54lbs (doc recommended 25-35) and have lost 19lbs of it since then. Diet: you need 500 cals more while pregnant. Protein and fat are very important for baby's brain growth. 500 cals more is in no way "eating for two people," it's eating for…

Hey, I also love dark chocolate and other sweets (mainly chocolate sweets- double chocolate brownies are my biggest weakness). I've been working hard at not binge eating on sweets and have only once since starting on MFP a week ago today. I haven't ever dealt with bulimia, but did battle an eating disorder for quite…

Have you re-evaluated your calorie needs by editing your diet/fitness profile (under the "home" tab in settings)? I've read others who say you should put in your new information ever 5lbs lost since your caloric needs will change with how much you weigh and how active you are.

I understand how hard it is to get into a healthy routine and the mental side of it, trying to get pumped about loosing weight. I really want to, but before having a baby, I never had to worry about my weight since I couldn't gain a pound so I ate more fatty foods. Trying to change things is hard for me, especially with a…

This group is dead, isn't it? I was hoping to find some magical knowledge on how to eat ice cream and other stuff and still loose weight.

That is great to hear. I just started (today is day 3). Thanks so much for sharing this recipe :)

I understand the not girly thing. "I'd rather be fishing," is kinda my life motto lol. With the few lady friends I have, before having a baby, we'd hit up a lake if it was hot out and bbq after, movies, bowling, get some drinks, karaoke, dancing, go out 4x4ing in the mountains, or even just walk around town. Now that I…

Good luck, lady. You just have to stick with it. A little accountability would probably be a good thing for me too. This is day 3 of being on here and actively trying to loose weight healthily. I had a baby in December and want to kick more of this baby weight since I gained 54lbs while pregnant and have only lost about 20…
