Hey, fellow vegetarian here. I've been one now for about a year and a half. Decided to switch to a vegetarian diet one morning just to give it a shot, and never looked back. I come from a family of hunters, so I expected it to be a pretty difficult change, but it went much smoother than I thought.

For me, a good size serving of lentils and lightly steamed broccoli does the trick. The broccoli in particular gets me full fast and keeps me feeling full.

For lifting weights, I usually stick to metal, grind, punk, and the various sub-genres of each. Anything with good heavy riffs or a good atmosphere keeps me going.
