I definitely research before I go. It helps me to stay on target. It sucks how many fake healthy meals are out there.

It's especially annoying when people who are skinny are trying to force you to eat something you don't want to. Asking over and over again...or saying just have one...are you sure you don't want it? No, means no, and I'm doing this for myself. I wish they would understand and just respect the decision.

Log it under cardio. There is an option for that. :)

I can name several diets that temporarily worked, but never provided a long term fix. I think that changing your lifestyle is the only way to achieve sustainable results. MFP has the right idea!

Have you tried playing with your calories or switching up your workouts?

Throw them away (if there is any left). You gave yourself a treat - nothing wrong with a little indulgence every now and then. However, it's back on track for you! :) Don't feel bad. You can do it!

Broccoli with sun dried tomato hummus Banana with peanut butter Yum!

I log my stuff the night before to make a plan for the next day. That way I can "budget" my calories and stick to an eating plan.

I ordered that a couple of weeks ago thinking I was making a good decision. I was so pissed to find out the calorie and fat content. Now I just stick to my Thomas Hearty Grains Bagels. Evil!

Haha, something tells me it's rigged. I like your style!

Nasty - I showed it to my husband because he is one of the "super heavy users" eating fast food more than 10 x month, but he didn't want to finish reading it. Wow, totally not craving fast food!

That's what I was thinking too. I've always heard that fiber is good. I'm eating healthier and more veggies are working their way into my lifestyle along with whole grains.

When I was 18 most of my friends were gay or bisexual. I felt comfortable around them. My best friend was a gay guy. My other best friend was a bisexual girl. I never felt strange hanging out with them even though I was straight. I didn't date much because of low self esteem, and they accepted me the way that I was. Just…

I rediscovered peanut butter and avocado. So yummy!

Who cares what he thinks? He had every opportunity to tell you no, and he didn't - so screw him! If the piercing makes you happy (and before he was negative about it, it did) then enjoy it. You worked hard for that earing. Don't let him take that away from you. He will get over it and this will teach him to speak his mind…

I've heard others say that your body can fluctuate naturally 5lbs due to water retention.

So much for sustainable weight loss. Eating like that screams rebound!

I like to weigh every day. It keeps me accountable.

Welcome you guys! I joined at the beginning of February and I'm now a mfp addict! This is a great website with wonderful tools! Good luck on your journey!

The calorie deficit is already figured into your goals. If you go back a few pages you will see a lot of similar posts with the answer to your question that has a lot of good content that would be beneficial to read.

You look hot! What an amazing life change for you! Congrats on all of your success!

Instead of finding temporary fixes of things that work for you for a little bit, invest the time and energy into making a lifestyle change. Losing weight is the benefit of getting healthy, but it will come back if you don't make the changes you need to do it right. This website is a great tool for supporting a healthy life…

You can't change what is in the past, but you can change the future. It's hard to recover after falling off of the wagon, but it's doable. Remember the reasons you are here and what you want to accomplish. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon so start taking steps in the right direction. You can and will do it!

I've only recently considered food as an addiction. I've noticed that since I've started thinking about it from that perspective I seem to be stronger in resisting the temptation. I'm really tired of being addicted to food and I'm finally starting to learn how to eat healthy. Thanks for the article!

I have two routines. On cardio days I do 10 minutes on the treadmill to warm up, then do 5 sets of 40 crunches and finish with 40 minutes on the cross trainer machine. On the opposite days I do 10 minutes on the treadmill to warm up, 5 sets of 40 crunches, 3 leg machines, 5 arm machines and then 30 minutes on the cross…

I'm set to lose 2lbs per week and I eat most of my exercise calories. I have been working on decreasing my sodium and I drink tons of water. I'm sure it's going to slow down - I was just surprised and the quick loss of 4lbs since Saturday. However, I was at 200 for 8 days before that so maybe my body adjusted after a small…

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. That will only set you up for failure. Instead, focus on smaller goals that will get you to your goal in October. Focus on getting yourself healthy in terms of what you eat and how much you exercise and the results will follow. You can do it.

That's amazing! You are truly an inspiration!
