  • I drink a ton of water... anywhere between 64 and 100 ounces every day.
  • I'm 5'3" and about 130lbs right now... my GW is 107 but I will be happy with 110, toned. Anyone can feel free to add me if they'd like; I just got back on the wagon a week ago, so I am starting fresh! :)
  • I am 5'4" and my CW is 125. GW is 107 as I was between 107-109 for most of my adult life, until I had kids! I know 107 seems like a low number, but I have a very petite frame and once I hit 110 I am just going to work on toning/muscle/maintaining. :) Would love more friends in a similar boat! :)
  • As a parent of a toddler and stepmom to two teenagers, I can tell you that we all do our best to eat healthy. My kids LOVE fruit...in fact, my toddler as a rule NEVER gets real desserts, and we have taught her that her dessert is FRUIT. She loves it!! She loves her veggies, too...carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, any kind of…
  • I highly recommend www.NattyNutrition.com. The owners are a husband/wife team who train not only bodybuilders, but also create nutrition plans for ANYONE looking to get healthy and/or lose weight. They are AWESOME and keep in touch with you every step of the way. You check in with them each week (via Skype or email, unless…
  • I am! :) I love it when I am motivated enough to actually DO it! :)
  • It will be MUCH healthier to lose the weight first and get to your goal weight (or close), and THEN get pregnant. YOU will be healthier, BABY will be healthier...it's all around a win-win.
  • You look sad :( Everything okay?
  • We're close to twins!! :) I'm: Female Age: 29 Height: 5' 4" (on a "tall day") SW: 125 CW: 119 GW: 107 and TONED :)
  • I'm in Fort Myers! :)
  • THANKS, everyone!!!! :) I feel more ready than ever...honestly, just the name of the workout scared me at first! But now I feel like I can at least ATTEMPT to tackle it! A friend of mine at work is going to do it at the same time, so we can hold each other accountable for doing the workouts, too. I'll let ya'll know how it…
  • Kids develop at their own pace...and honestly, if she's working on one area (talking, fine motor-skills like turning board book pages, looking at books, etc) she probably isn't interested in moving around yet. Babies tend to do one thing until they master it...and THEN move on to the next. Sounds like she will probably be…
  • PARENTS THESE DAYS NEED TO WAKE UP and show their children what is healthy and what is not. They need to show them what to eat and what not to eat, just as much as they need to show them how to tie their shoes. HEALTHY FOOD doesn't have to be expensive. We spend about $30 a week for two-three HEALTHY meals per day, feeding…
  • Well I have to be one of the few who TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. When I married my bodybuilder husband, he was super healthy (still is, of course). I still don't eat as healthy as he does, but at least I don't eat junk all the time or eat fast food (hardly ever). We vowed that our chidren would BE TAUGHT...as PARENTS SHOULD…
  • My mom has TONS of these...but the one I use all the time (I tell myself, my husband, and my stepkids...my 2yo daughter isn't quite old enough to understand yet), is: "Turn on your left side (when you sleep) if you aren't feeling good (belly hurts, etc). Lay on your left side." Well...who'd a thunk it...but it WORKS LIKE A…
  • I log mine, but I don't eat the calories back. It just gives me more motivation to keep MOVING!! :) I like to see the calories I burn even doing everyday things. I also work out 4-5 days a week, for an hour or so, separately, so housecleaning isn't the only thing I'm doing to lose weight.
  • If you're eating something with a nutrition label on it, just pull off the label and write what meal is was on which day. Then when you get back , you can log it all. Keeping snacks and water on you is a great idea! Try to think "healthy"...grilled foods when you eat out, or baked, stay away from fried things and sugar.…
  • I'm in !!!!!!!
  • Thanks EVERYONE for all of your great replies!!! It helps to know I'm not in this alone, and other women have had these exact same issues and we're either working on them or we've succeeded in getting rid of a problem or two. I have a confession to make; when I was married to my first husband, I was a tiny size 0 but my…
  • I'm 5'3" (and I tell myself I'm 5'4" on a "tall day") and am currently 118. My GW is 107 since I remember how I looked when I weighed that before I had my youngest daughter (she's now 21 months). I'll be happy when I hit 110, but that 107 is my real goal. Oh, and I have to hit it by the end of May... I also need to TONE…
  • I can't tell you how very PROUD I am of you!!!!! You're an inspiration!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
  • I guess that's how it works, yeah. I don't eat more than my 1200 per day, and since I started this diet/exercise routine last Monday (the 4th), I have already lost two pounds. (My goal is 2 pounds a week until I hit my goal weight, then just to maintain and tone.)
  • fbmandy: The way that I personally "don't eat my calories back" is that I stick with my 1200 every day. Since by the end of the day, I typically work off about 900 calories, that would raise my calorie goal to 2100... which I don't eat. I stick with my 1200, no matter how much I work out (unless I'm SUPER hungry after a…
  • Thanks, everybody!!! GREAT suggestions!!!
  • One of the biggest drawbacks to weight loss is not eating enough. As great as it is to be "under your calorie limit", if you're not getting close to that number, your body is storing fat to use to fuel itself because it doesn't know when it's next calories are coming. Train your body to count on your meals at certain…
  • My goal is 15 pounds in two months...10 if I have to settle!
