that and Biggest Loser - i have a notepad of motivational quotes specifically for working out and pushing myself harder and so many of them are from the trainers and contestants on that show! it just goes to show what true dedication can do for someone, truly in any area of life!

it usually suggests about 8 glasses of water a day...more or less depending on how you feel - if youre thirsty then you are dehydrated and you should definitely drink more water. and of course if you've worked out you'll probably want more water too. and yes, definitely eat the minimum 1200 calories. at least.

peanut butter is actually good for you so i'm not sure why you're avoiding it... just don't eat a ton and don't eat the kind with a lot of hydrogenated oil and stuff

keep some trail mix around with a lot of nuts and dried fruit and a few chocolate chips - i keep a bowl on my desk and a small bag in my backpack or purse - and it really helps to snack on that instead; nuts fill you up fast and also help improve your mood!

technicallly you have the most energy (and can therefore perform harder workouts and see greater results) at around 3 or 4, when you've had breakfast and lunch to fuel you up. but honestly, it's better to find a time you can fit into your schedule and stick with it; a time that's comfortable for you is much more important.

If they are sore to the touch or hurt when you walk on them, then you probably have shin splints. I get them when I run on flat and hard surfaces too often or for too long because I have really flat feet.
