fitbit.com/user/2RTKG3 I'm 43, divorced, and work part time in a bakers shop. I do a lot of walking while at work and wanted to prove it to my doctor, which is why I bought my Zip. In my average day of walking to the bus stop for work, doing my shift, a quick walk round the shops to buy groceries then back home again I…

I was recently given an old slow cooker by a relative who wants me to "eat proper meals" when I get in from work lol. This recipe sounds perfect for me since I love chicken :) Would it taste okay without the vinegar though? I usually have everything else in my cupboard, but white wine vinegar isn't a normal item on my…

Hi there. Have to say this looks delish and I can't wait to have a go at it, but I have a question .... what is half and half? I am in the UK and am guessing thats something available in the US/Canada??

Hi there! I have the Fitbit Zip and wear mine to work since I'm on my feet all day at work and reckon I actually do most of my walking there on an average day. I spend far too much time sat at my computer when I'm not at work, so I have noticed huge differences in the number of steps from the days I work and the days I…

I'll answer the post in a minute, but I just want to say I must have missed something when I joined MFP. I was under the impression this was a fitness/diet site where support and encouraged could be shared by/with others who were also trying to lose weight or get fit. I don't recall any questions related to dating when I…

Something I've been meaning to do! And speaking as someone who's weight has been up and down like a yo-yo over the years, I can agree with the majority of replies with regard to you'll notice the difference in your clothes before you'll actually see any real difference. My biggest weight loss was 42lbs a couple of years…

I agree with both zeal26 and glitznglamour. It could be down to blood sugar levels, in which case you might want to look at what you're eating as well as how much. Little and often is good advice for regulating blood sugar levels. Perhaps try combining a GI diet with your calorie counting and see if that helps. Or you…

Personally I never ask if people can see a difference. In fact I usually don't even tell them when I'm on a diet. That way if they ask if you've lost weight you know they have genuinely noticed and aren't just saying it to try and encourage you. Just my thoughts on it :)

Thanks for the replies guys  I only bought the game in 2012 and had never heard of it until I spotted it in the supermarket one day. Well at least now I know it's nothing to do with my Wii  Was hoping to compare notes as it were with other players/users since the online thing doesn't work. I have done the 9…

Ahhh a size 14, I remember being that ... before I had my daughter lol. Right now I'd settle for a 20 :) Added you earlier, feel free to drop a line any time you need a bit of support and I'll do what I can. I know how tough it is going it alone, but a site like this you don't need to do it alone x
