  • To be honest with you, I felt the same way...so for about a week around the holiday I did't log my food or my calories, I stayed off MFP. (And I got a polar for Christmas!) Since I've been back, I lost the couple of pounds I had put on in the past couple months...just don't give up :smile:
  • I always go over on sugar too...thats because I eat alot of fruit. If its natural and not added sugar, I dont worry about it too much.
  • My bf got me my polar hrm for Christmas and I've used it yesterday and today. Yesterday I walked on the treadmill for an hour-200 calorie burn difference-but not in a good way. My hrm said I burned 300 some and the treadmill said I burned 5 hundred some... Today I got on my stationary bike, there was only a few calories…

  • Well, I hate to go against the crowd... but to me it would depend on what kind of cake it was, and what kind of icing it has. Icing is one of my fave bad things to eat, and on occasions, (after I add it to food diary), I splurge. :wink:
  • No, they are good for you... Mostly organic. If you go to Clifbar.com you can read up on them, or go to the Luna site also. I love and eat both brands...

  • I hardly go by the scale when it comes to a few pounds. The smallest things can effect the scale-if you ate/drank anything, had to go to the bathroom, had clothes on... Dont stress about it. It will work itself out.

  • The Personal Trainer is a good idea. Even if you dont see results as quickly as you like, it will make you feel better about yourself.   • I would LOVE to run in a marathon, or any other kind of race... I run a couple times a week anyway, but I want someone to run with for the first couple times, since I've never done any races. :cry:
  • Just take Flaxseed Oil pills... I've recommended them to many co-workers. You can take up to three tablets a day, but you should only need one. Good luck!
