I have worn one, and would wear one again. (Not at this given time, though, feeling bad about myself). I have stretch marks all over also due to being overweight since grade school to about my early twenties. I say go for it as long as your comfortable!

I would go along with what the HRM is telling you. My HR resting is usually about 50. When lifting weights, running etc my HR can be anywhere from 80's (lifting) to 160's (running). Some one I know made this same recipe with splenda instead of sugar. I don't know the nutritional values. But when the cookies are made with the splenda, they are very flat, just so you know. They were given to me in a cookie exchange.

Vitamuffin Vitatops are realllllllllly good too. And 100 calories, loads of fiber (6g i think?) and 3g protein. I love the double chocolate flavor. If you really want something that seems "bad", try a choc vitatop with reddi whip. It tastes like a sundae.

grind it in your coffee bean grinder or food processor if its whole. Then proceed to put it in cereal, baked goods, any kind of dish really, use it as a topping... Probably best to start out with small amts and see what you like as far as texture changes.
