good question - and the answer is "it depends" If someone is reasonably new - and asks for opinions by all means provide them feedback. If someone has done it for a while - has had success, and seems to know what they are doing - dont say a thing... If someone has done it for a while - has had success - seems to be…

Make sure you go into the store and actually TRY them out.....I have been using the bike in the gym - and it is quite comfy (but costs thousands of $$) When I had my knee replacement they had an el cheapo bike in the hospital and it was soooo uncomfortable - the seat was hard, it felt unstable and just did not peddal…

On MFP you add back the calories you burn when you exercise so 1200 + 265 doing 30DS = 1465 Jillian's number already add your exercise into the number - so in the end of the day you need to eat at least 1465 (example) This explains how MFP works http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/6556-the-answers-to-the-questions

They do not make sustainable changes in their diet...... Example - Drink VLC shakes and you will lose the weight - but are you going to drink those shakes for the rest of your life??? Over a 100 lbs lost - and eating around 30% of my 2000 calories a day after 8pm - so my personal experience says it is nonsense...... Eat a deficit (but make sure you actually eat enough) and you will lose the weight

dial up the resistance - and then try and go as fast as you can.....RPM is a better indicator for me of how hard I am working.... And as someone else said HIIT is quite effective - here is an example 3min warm up - 40% of max HR 30 seconds - as hard as you can go (between 75% and 95% of max HR) 2min - 50% of max HR Repeat…

Just on the big boned thing - I had a DEXA scan done a few months ago…

You have to change habits that you have cultivated over years..... If you don't change the habits the weight will come back ..... Sure as anything.... This is what is different for me this time (after 20 years of diets) I have changed my habits, which is slowly changing my mind - and my relationship with food.....I have…

I just read this article - the big message is with cardio you lose muscle at the same time as weight - and that is not a good thing..... More muscle - more fat loss in the end.....personally I look at it this way - I want to lose fat - not weight.....I started at over 300lbs - and have done at least 3 weight sessions a…
