  • My mom pre-ordered mine for Christmas. As someone mentioned above, they ship from Best Buy on Jan 23rd. I can't wait!
  • - Kick my sugar addiction - Only weigh myself 1-2x per month - Take monthly progress pictures - Develop a strong focus on fitness goals as opposed to weigh goals - Work out 4-6x per week - Drink more green tea
  • I was out for 2 weeks when I had the flu. My first workout seemed challenging but after that I was fine. You'll bounce back quickly, especially if it's only for a few days.
  • Love this thread. Thank you, OP!!
  • Those are some seriously horrendous comments, and outright emotional abuse.
  • I have done both 30DS and Ripped In 30. I tried 2 levels of T25 and just could not keep up. By the time I got the rhythm of what Shaun T was doing, he was moving on to a different move! Needless to say, I would choose Ripped In 30 over T25 any day. I saw some great changes in my body when I did RI30. Hope thaf helps!
  • Nutella and peanut butter. On a spoon. Together.
  • My thoughts exactly!!
  • Oh I literally snack all day long! Here are my favs: - Marble cheese string, 60 cals - Grape tomatoes or carrot sticks with light hummus - Veggie Thins with light hummus - Pepperidge Farm goldfish, 90 cals for 37 - Pepperidge Farm sweet crisps (Cinnamon is my fav), 90 cals for 20 - Special K cracker chips, 80 cals for 18 -…
  • I am also a huge Starbucks lover! In the summer I order a Venti Caramel Iced Coffee with non-fat milk. In the colder months my go-to is a Grande Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte. If I really feel like splurging I'll get a non-fat Pumpkin Spice Latte (:
  • These flavours are AWESOME: - Cookies and cream - Chocolate chip cookie dough - Brownie - Double chocolate chunk - Peanut butter supreme These flavours are OK, but definitely not my go-to: - Cinnamon bun - Peanut butter and chocolate I basically detest any of the fruit flavours, and after trying a few (strawberry…
  • This is great advice, I'm so glad I clicked on this thread! Thank you so much (:
  • I hate when people yell ANYTHING out of car windows, but that is just evil. It's important to remind yourself that whoever was shouting out that window is a bully, certainly has nothing better to do, and probably suffers from low self esteem (hence feeling the need to bring someone else down, too). I pity them, and you…
  • My Polar FT4 actually gave me a higher calorie burn than MFP had. But I was entering all of my home workout videos as "Aerobics" so maybe that wasn't the best choice? Regardless, I love my HRM. I don't know what I did without it!
  • And I'm being honest when I say your condescending tone is not very helpful to me. I'm not sure what your intentions were when you initially replied to this, other than to start a conflict of sorts. If you wanted to offer advice then I apologize but the way in which you offered it failed to reach me. "Perhaps one day…
  • I'm guilty of going over my calories on the weekends. Last weekend was great, but I was a disaster this past weekend! That being said, I still do my best to track, even if that means staring at big fat red numbers at the end of the day! Before I go out to a restaurant, I always look at the menu online. I usually look for…
  • "It is impossible for others to know your sensitivities unless you have that talk." In my opinion, commenting on an individual's weight gain is in poor taste, whether I am sensitive about it or not, and regardless of what the intention was when it was mentioned. I guess holding everyone to that standard of etiquette is…
  • I don't have any children but it always boggles my mind when people comment on how "huge" pregnant people are. I mean, someone who is pregnant is growing another human being inside of them. Of COURSE their bellies are big! Can't help but roll my eyes......
  • Thank you for that! It's incredibly frustrating but I guess I need to learn to let those things roll off my back. It's become very clear to me that not everyone has proper social etiquette.......
  • I agree - she sounds like a classy woman indeed!
  • I find the comment to be in very poor taste, no matter the intention. So I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. For the record, I would never actually call someone socially retarded to their face. Hence the MFP rant to blow off some steam.
  • I can imagine that is just as upsetting! It's discouraging when you're trying to better yourself and the people around you are being anything less than supportive. In any event, it sounds like you're doing great things for yourself!
  • I may comment how wonderful they look, but I do not comment on their weight unless they bring it up. Maybe because I am so sensitive to remarks about my weight, I'm more aware of what I say to others.
  • I previously struggled from an eating disorder as well. Sounds like we've both experienced the exact same thing :(
  • Thank you! It boggles my mind as well. I just needed to blow off some steam!
  • I love the cooler months because I LOVE soups! This will be my first fall using MFP so I'm hoping some of my friends share some yummy soup recipes with me (:
  • Coffee cream totally grosses me out now. I either drink it black or with a splash of milk, depending on the roast. Candy does not satisfy me like it once did. That being said, I crave chocolate a lot more now than I used to (specifically Hershey's Drops - yum!). Fried food in general really puts me off these days, and also…
  • I'm one of those people who do not have a "no" list... but recently, I cannot control myself when I eat peanut butter and nutella. Together. Right off the spoon. So I'm avoiding that combo for now.
  • I asked the same question in the FitBit Group and was told that if you enter it as exercise on MFP it will sync with your FitBit. I tried it, and it works! Hope that helps (:
