Thanks so much! I'll definitely go to a specialty store to get fitted. The first time I did the 30 Day Shred I was barefoot and ended up injuring my ankle. I was told the injury was likely due to the fact that I wasn't wearing proper footwear, so despite the fact that I worked out on carpet, I assumed shoes were a must. .

How many "bites" are you having per day? If it's just 1-2 I'd quick add 100 cals and be done with it.

I do 25-35 minute workouts 5-6x/week at home.

That's good to know - thank you! I may buy a cheaper pair for my videos and invest in a nice pair for running. Nike Frees are certainly not for me, though.

I'm trying to build some muscle mass and lower body fat. The videos I do incorporate a lot of resistance and HIIT but sometimes I wonder if I could benefit from more cardio.

Jillian Michaels is one of the best things I learned about through MFP. I knew who she was (I had seen The Biggest Loser) but I didn't know anything about her workout programs. I've completed 30 Day Shred and Ripped In 30 but I often just do a single workout from whichever one of her programs I feel like on a given day.…

Photos, or just how I look/feel. I think it depends on what type of a relationship you have with the scale. As others have said, sometimes fluctuations can be upsetting or discouraging. But some people aren't bothered by them :)

I did the 30 Day Shred last year and I loved it! I have also completed Jillian's Ripped In 30 program, and several weeks of Six Week Six Pack. Instead of following one program I like to mix it up and do alternate levels/JM workouts, depending on my mood. Good luck to everyone!
