There are a lot of people in there in your state, and a lot of fit people in there that used to be overweight. When I see very overweight people in the gym I think "AWESOME FOR THEM", they are taking the first steps. When I see overweight people waddle out of Dennys I think...."DISGUSTING....they don't have to be like…

Some of those tropical juices are very high in sugar. Personally when trying to lose weight I try to stay away from juices.

Its great to have some self control, but it also helps not to have something so calorie dense in your house if you don't have the self control.

The problem is she ate 360 grams of the stuff, about 2000 calories.

My point is why is it okay to tell people they are underweight but not okay to tell people they are overweight. Either way the result can be unwanted comments on ones body type. I'm not trying to be a "White Knight", but fact of the matter is some of these comments are quite rude. My wife heard this all of her life at 5'6…

Way to go people, telling this lady she needs to gain weight. Maybe stick to answering the question. 110 lbs may be ideal for her body. Why is it okay to tell people that they are too underweight but not okay to tell people that they are overweight?

When she is off the boob you may also want to consider Goat Milk instead of Cows Milk. The fat & protein in the goats milk is much more similar to human milk than what cows milk is and I think better for them. Also the formulas are carefully balanced for what baby needs.

This is a great story, thank you very much for sharing.

HOLY SMOKING HOT LEGS!!!!!!!!.........Sorry did I say that out loud? LOL I agree completely with this, especially the part of thinking longterm. Thats the great thing about MFP, it helps you develop good long term eating habits.

What kind of answer is this?

I agree with ya, Annoy's the hell out of me really when people at the gym tie up the fly machine, set it at 10 lbs, do a set of 50...........sit there for 5 minutes........then do 50 more at 10 lbs........and you ask them if you can work in with them and they say ( I just have 3 more sets)....then go back to their facebook…

Whats wrong with the elliptical? I lost 80lbs with Elliptical being my main source of cardio exercise. Has done wonders for my cardiovascular health and no damage to my joints. I did and still do lift as well, but when I started out Lifting was about 30% of my gym time, and now that I am closer to my goals and have…

I'm no expert by why not switch to Formula now. At a reduced calorie diet your baby may not be getting what he/she needs anyways. Also teeth may be coming soon....ouch!
-
I also agree.....based on my experience. I lost most of my weight while having my first food 5 hours after waking up.

Awesome work dude, and thank you for taking the time to post.......you are helping many people by helping motivate. Its stories like yours that helped fuel my fire a year ago.....and like you I still want to get leaner......Maybe 20lbs more fat loss.

My Advice to all: Find the people that have been successful with weight loss and sustaining that weight loss for some time, and people that are very fit..........listen to what they say. Don't be taking advice from someone that says 1200 calories a day for a breastfeeding mother okay.....that is just irresponsible. This is…

^^^^^^^ This......Listen to this.

Yeah it's so hard to exercise in a gym.........most people just like to relax there

I had very achy knees when I was 270 lbs. I found even when I started out that exercise made them much less achy. I find absolutely no knee pain now at 190 lbs and have started running & Squats with no problems. I lost most of my weight through carefully controlled diet, core & Upper Body weight training, and lots of…

Isn't that the same excuse people use to eat fast food? LOL

You have 18 lbs to lose in 10 weeks. As you are so close to your goal I would recommend just running the MFP numbers with the goal of 1lb loss per week and see what you come up with. I don't think MFP ever ask people to eat less than 1200 a day. Its not a race and to lose weight for a wedding day is not a good enough of a…

I started taking BCAA's about 5 weeks ago and have not been losing any weight since I started.......but I have had to close my belt one notch tighter. My wife has even said that she has noticed my upper body gains as of lately (Chest & Arms). I like the Aminocore & the Xtend, for 60 cents a serving of 8 Grams it isn't bad.…

Certainly do not agree with not logging your food, and logging in to maintain a streak is kinda like lying.....only lying to yourself. If you maintain say a 3500 defecit all week to lose one pound, then your so called "Cheat" day you are not logging how do you know what to expect for your weight loss? If you don't log for…

Nothing short of spectacular bud........Never again will either of us be over 200lbs.....Never again!

Don't take it the wrong way........but you are going to fail. Sounds like I have a horrible attitude right? MFP recommends a maximum weight loss of 2lbs per week and for good reason. If you try to do this too fast and do not get adequate nutrition you may experience things like thinning hair, muscle loss, poor skin, loose…

You are a completely different person, looking great.

This girl knows what she is talking about. Focus on being healthy, if you want to lose fat then hit the cardio hard. If you goal is to lose 50lbs by June then you really have your work cut out for you, I originally dedicated 1 Year to lose 90 Lbs and now that I am close to my goal have increased to 100lbs, but I will slow…
