I will very likely get the same surgery. My arms are so large there's no way this skin is making it! Do you mind sharing the total cost and your general location?

It took me a few weeks to find the right amount of calories to be eating to keep my cravings and appetite under control. I tried 1400 and ended up binging once a week because I couldn't sustain it. I changed my stats to lightly active and was given 1700. Too much food. It fueled poor choices which triggered more cravings…

I have to sip water, prefer room temp because cold gives me stomach cramps, and I try not to drink on an empty stomach for the same reason. Maybe one of those is also an issue for you?

You should DEFINITELY weigh your rice too. I was shocked when I weighed my "one cup". It was almost 2x what it should have been.

I also have to be careful not to eat within 2hrs of bed time. I get the most horrible indigestion now that lasts the whole next day. I'm definitely hungry at bed time but it's been about a week now and I'm getting used to it. I had been a breakfast skipper but now that I go to bed hungry I also wake up pretty hungry. I may…

You don't have the patience to eat properly now, you won't later when you finally give up this dangerous way of eating. You're very likely to regain using this method, I hope you take better care of your body soon.

I really enjoy Luna bars. They're not terribly low Cal but I feel better about eating 200 Cals of something with some vitamins and protein than straight up candy. It keeps my cravings under control to go ahead and fit them in each day. I havent gone chocolate crazy in a while with these yummy snacks.

Yep! I can't look at any profiles from mobile. It's super annoying.

I think the suggestion was to add your own greens so you're not subjected to the mood of whoever is feeding you. We're all busy. I have been on duty for almost 48 hours and I'm still managing to keep my priorities at the top. If your tummy is enough of a bother you'll find a way. I have always read that abs are made in the…

I have quite a few on my belly and when I first lost 100lbs I wasn't even to my ultimate goal still had tons of tummy fat but they were sooo light I hardly even noticed them in the mirror. Give yourself some time, but there are no magical creams as far as I know.

The first time I lost weight I made myself wait for new clothes. This time I refuse to wait and will replace things as I need to. Wearing uncomfortable and unflattering clothes didn't help my self esteem at all and honestly I think feeling uncomfortable all the time really lead to my regain. I know that seems silly but…

I actually enjoy going to bed slightly hungry.

Just as another opinion, there are plenty of studies to show that the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" is false. I never eat in the mornings, I have my first meal at midday and another at about 7 or 8. I dont feel any issues with energy or concentration, and I find this schedule fits me best so I can eat…

Do you get enough sleep? Are you eating properly and enough?

I laugh at myself while I play wii fit and just dance. It adds to the calories. If my partner is in the room we have some rules, he cant touch me while Im exercising because it totally breaks all my focus. And for the same reason he isnt allowed to make comments or start sexy groaning at me while doing downward dog or some…

I just started being friendlier with the front desk person. Id say hello, ask about their day, and make sure to tell them I'd see them tomorrow. When I said "I'll see you tomorrow!!" And I didnt show up I felt like a huge *kitten*. So maybe not a friend, just someone who is going to be there and who can call your butt out…

You've got it sister! I really think you're doing all the right things. Keep your logging tight and double check everything. I can't imagine the frustration of wishing you could do more, but the advice from rabbit is spot on. Be patient, because (with accurate logging) you KNOW you're eating correctly and you're walking…

Maybe not weight loss but i tell you what I got some serious stomach issues after eating right before bed! So I advise everyone ever who asks: definitely try to give some digestion time before sleep at least. But no OP, eating late isnt going to make you gain weight :) its more about making a schedule that works for you…
-
Well maybe youre MORE lax now or eating more than you think. Estimations are fine if youre not concerned or watching calories. But I dont eat anything I dont log with as much accuracy as I can because it matters that much to me. Being more accurate with your logging is what you need.

Pecan :)

Always within my calorie goals, I can eat whatever i feel I need. I make sensible choices and indulge when I want to. I don't think of them as cheating at all :)

You mean right now? Go eat something. Seems like a simple fix to me :)

Because all babies are different and some take their time! Not every baby does the wonderful sleeping through the night by 6mos thing. I was a nanny for an infant from 3mos-11mos and I tell you what that babe must have hated to sleep! Short naps no matter what and always woke every 3-4 hrs over night, until I moved on.…

I honestly have started going to bed earlier. Not sleep necessarily but if Im teeth brushed/face washed/retainers in, and bedroom door shut Im about 99% sure I wont be snacking. But I do leave room for treats daily. Today mine was a luna bar, less than 200 cals and super satisfying.

I am not sure if this suggestion is frowned upon here, but have you ever taken diruex? If taken appropriately it helps with bloating. If youre to an uncomfortable point it could help! Just definitely keep drinking while you have it in your system. I take them the first three days of my period usually and find myself…

Individual packs are a great idea :) I just tell myself the PB is for my partner and my roommate. Mentally if its not mine I dont even consider it an option.

I do occasionally drink metamucil. I do think it helps keep me full to get to a meal, but probably not more than 45 mins to an hour of relief, then you'll be hungry. I have more issues to my gut than I like to list, so this fiber supplement doesnt have any kind of helpfulness really unless I just havent ever had it…

Oh and I worked for a GI doctor when I got this diagnosis and her medical journal had a published study showing that HIIT exercise reduced internal body fat (the stuff around your organs) better than lower intensity. All exercise is helpful but the % of fat lost from the liver was higher with HIIT. Which of course you…

I had a similar wake up call, routine liver function tests came back abnormal and an ultrasound revealed a fatty liver. You likely have the same, try not to panic. You're unlikely to have anything too unfortunate at your age. But this should be your wake up call. Your insides are suffering because they're surrounded by…

Put the pants up and in your line of sight, not having to buy new clothes is a great reason not to gain weight back!
