The weight loss from VLCD is not from losing fat but actually muscle tissue loss which is very bad for the body. Good point on the water retention part though.

It is usually faster to lost weight in the beginning. So yes, believe it! Just keep going and don't lose hope if you reach a plateau.

I have a huge collection of dress shirts I used 4 years ago when I was considering myself "slim". I gained weight for the past 2 years (maybe about 20lbs) but now the shirts are too big for me and need alteration. :laugh:
