A good way to prevent bingeing is having small, frequent meals throughout the day and drinking about 2 glasses of water before each meal.

Just watched the TED video on weightloss mathematics. Thanks to user Meerataila who shared it here. So the answer is we breathe about 84% of it out as carbon dioxide and only about 16% come out as water. Fascinating!

I havent done any research on this but in my opinion, fat cells have high water percentage so when it is "burned" or broken down, the water in it is released and leaves your body as water. It is physically impossible for our body to lose weight without anything being thrown out.

Keep having 3 light meals and 2 to 3 light snacks. Being hungry for too long can cause you to binge on the next meal.

And i thought i was weird for always imagining a slimmer version of myself on the events that i look forward to. Thanks for making me feel normal. and thanks everyone for sharing your stories

Still looks good to me. and wow! Congrats on losing that much weight!

Congrats in advance myrtille, I can relate to the time when you thought you were dieting but actually just maintaining the weight. I hope everything goes well with your weight loss journey. I suggest you use some "nearer" occasions to motivate yourself and boost your weightloss.

I also need some buddies. I feel so alone having only 8 friends on MFP and no one is actively using it like me.

Forget about the weight. Just measure the cooked rice by cups. That would be much easier. I have a set of measuring cups for my rice intake.

Cheat days for me are days when I would eat some of my favorite high-calorie foods that I could no longer eat ever since I started MFP. Apparently, I would exceed my calorie limit for the day (usually by 1000 or more). On these days, I would expect to really gain weight the day after. To make up for this and get back on…

You're welcome. A little discipline + MFP can really give great results.
