I often wondered what middle age really meant. The "normal" expected life span is 70, so I guess 35 is half (or middle) of 70. Right now I'm three quarters of 70. 3/4 x 70 = 210/4 = 52.5 [/quote] This is depressing!

I feel your pain! Had a stone that damages one of my kidneys 4 years ago. Recovery was just as bad as the stone itself. I cannot take any supplements or protein shakes/powders. A big no way for me. I just try to keep my diet simple fresh fruits, veggies and minimal lean meat. No tea or soda. Drink mostly was with some…

This wont work for everyone...but it worked for me. I used to weight myself daily. Didn't like how it made me feel. Years ago I began putting mine under my bathroom sink. Out of sight out of mind. Now I weight myself maybe every couple weeks.

The wording "eating my exercise calories" makes me giggle. But anyways, I tend to eat at least half back. They are delicious.

I would like more active friends on MFP to hold me accountable. Preferably those with realistic weight loss goals. I'm a mother of two and would like to get back down to my post baby weight. Those with children and families would understand my daily struggles to carve out time.
