definitely moderation/IIFYM approach. losing weight is hard enough as it is for some people, why add even more pressure to be perfect?
-
you definitely need to eat more and track more precisely. even if you were not working out at all you'd still be eating too little. do you want to be losing muscle and fat? because that's what happens when you starve the weight off.

weight loss is not linear and our bodies are not calculators. you will not lose every week. some weeks you might even gain for no reason. as long as your calories in vs calories out math checks out then don't worry about it, it will catch up to you with time. step away from the scale for a while and focus on what you're…

38 down since August of 14 with another 50-60 to go, let's be friends :)
-
it's a glitch in the system, and a lot of people are experiencing this lately. it should not suggest anything under 1200. you can input your own calorie goals, so don't even think twice about this.
-
did you eat 21,000 calories above your TDEE this past week? then stop obsessing and stop weighing yourself so soon after a bad day.
-
that's fantastic! congrats on your accomplishments so far. are you looking for more friends? I have similar goals, down 38 with another 50-60 to go. feel free to add me if you like and we can knock out those last 50 together!

eat what you want but count your calories. don't make it complicated. don't throw a hissy fit if there are some days here and there where you just have to eat more than your goal. it's not the end of the world. get a food scale and weigh EVERYTHING you're going to eat. don't expect to lose everything overnight. it's a…

huge congrats on your accomplishments! I turned 24 recently and I'm also from Florida! still have 50-60 pounds to go but I have an open diary.

Chickfila! 8 piece chicken nuggets (270 cals), some kind of sauce (let's say bbq at 45 cals), and a medium fruit cup (50 cals). sodium is killer but 28g of protein for the 8 piece, 41g protein and 400 cals for the 12 piece.

I've struggled a lot with binge eating over the years and that's definitely contributed to my major weight gains. in college, after I had lost a bunch and was at a healthy weight for a while I would go to Dairy Queen on the weekends and get a LARGE blizzard just for myself and I'd eat the entire thing. those are easily…

I eat like a college kid still, does that count? I'm 24 and it looks like we have similar weight goals. 132 puts me at the top of my healthy weight range but hoping to get off 10 more after that.
-
anyone can add me! just turned 24 and I'm only 5'1''. live with my partner who's 6'3'' and doesn't care about his weight so I understand the struggles of living with someone like that. down 37 but still have another 60 or so to go.

always looking for more positive and active friends! I log daily and recently opened my diary.
-
go here to learn some information about how weight loss works and figure out your TDEE.
-
it's probably just a little plateau. you're not going to lose weight consistently every week but it will catch up to you. it's totally normal and happens to the majority of us. stay away from the scale if you're getting frustrated. also remember that you've already lost A LOT of weight as it is and at some point it's going…

maybe 3 times a week? usually pizza, Chickfila, and Subway
-
are you eating at least 1200 calories per day? then don't worry about it.
-
you should open your diary. we can't help you unless we know what and how much you're eating.
-
think of your calories and weight loss on a week to week basis and focus on averaging those calories throughout the week if needed. if you want to eat 2000 calories per day you can eat 1800 one day and 2200 the next. to look at your calories consumed over time there should be a reports tab on the top of the home page that…

I started this thread and we've started a group if anyone hasn't come across the link yet you can find it here.

definitely a glitch. go here to figure out your TDEE, subtract 1000 (2 pounds a week) or 500 (1 pound a week) and eat that number every day, and don't eat exercise calories back.
-
feel free to add me! 36 down but 50ish left to go.
-
it's all about the math. use Google to find a TDEE calculator, determine TDEE and subtract 1000 calories to lose 2 pounds per week.
-
click their picture or account name, that will go to their page, there's a button for adding friends.
-
whatever you want. I doubt you're that inexperienced with eating.
-
quiting? did you mean you're trying to quiet it down? shut up sugar!
-
we made a group if you'd like to join, click here. message me if you can't find the invite button and I will invite you by account name. close to 100 members and growing but our participation is on the low side.

because your food is not reflecting your MFP goals. if you don't like them, change them. it's pretty simple, really.

I think if you get a Fitbit it will sync with MFP.
