GOOD STUFF!

I've got bananas at home just WAITING for this recipe...thought I'd be throwing them out!
-
I LOVE it! Who knew there were so many geeks on MFP???
-
Yeah, this is a little over my head too...
-
Maybe I should start "lifting my *kitten* off"!!!
-
That's amazing...and in such a short time! Congratulations and best of luck with your maintenance!!
-
ATL in the house!
-
My guilty indulgence...

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that struggled with this...keep it up, you'll be running those hills in NO TIME!
-
Congrats on your progress but I would be setting myself up for failure with this one!

I've read that you should take your ideal weight, divide by 2, and that's the number of grams of protein you should shoot for in your diet daily. I've heard others tell me that it's your ideal weight (not divided by 2) but they are weight builders and high endurance athletes. I don't think you can have too much, but the…

Welcome to MFP and congratulations for taking the initiative to do something on your own! I recommended starting with the book Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. Most of his patients come to him in what sounds like the same situation as yours. His plan produces amazing results in the first few weeks. In the meantime, invite LOTS…

That is amazing! Keep up the good work!

Definitely sounds more psychological and borderline dangerous. You may want to talk to a therapist...
-
I wouldn't want to change if I were you!
-
Unsweetened almond milk...although I drank skim milk before. Definitely don't see any reason for you to change to whole milk though.
-
This is what I call a true lifestyle change! I've been at it (seriously) for two months so I hope to have a report like this in the next few months as well. Congratulations!
-
I just added you too! The only thing I can tell you is take it a day at a time. Regardless of what the scale says, weight loss is a constant struggle. That's why I decided to just focus on lifestyle changes and trying to take small steps that I can implement with consistency. You're smart to add lots of friends too because…

COFFEE!

OMG, I can't believe he's still at it...it's been about 20 years for me too! I'd workout with Gil and his gang before watching PiR and Y&R. Those were the days. I'll have to look him up because I loved the 30 minute workout.
-
Sounds good...how do I join?
-
If you're not hungry and feel healthy, I don't think it's a problem.
-
They're probably just jealous that THEY can't do what you do!
-
That's a GREAT accomplishment. Dont' know if I could do it. My best was running 2 1/2 miles non-stop. Running (and I use the term loosely; it's more like a leisurely jog) is SO hard for me, but I like doing it because it gives the best results. I've been trying to build up to a 5K; not there yet but getting…

I can't give you a scientific expert because I'm not an expert. But I like the elliptical because it reduces shock. I'm so scared of running because I fear having to have knee and hip replacements in my old age. But that's just me...I guess I'm a punk!
-
Great success story if I ever heard one!
-
Definitely. And maybe you don't take the whole day, but enjoy at least one meal where you can eat as much of whatever you want!

You may want to read the Abs Diet for Women. The basic concept is building your lean muscle mass by increasing your protein intake and incorporating weight training. Sounds like you're doing a lot of the right stuff already so a couple small tweaks may get you some adidtional results.
-
Congratulations! That's fabulous. And 5 lbs/month is really a good rate.
-
Wow, sounds like you're doing everything right! I'm in the midst of a plateau that has lasted months and I'm about to focus on lean muscle mass. Since you're already doing cross fit, you may want to add more protein to your diet (if you're not already getting at least 75 grams a day). This will help increase your muscle…
