In addition to speaking to your manager about this, why don't you try writing out some affirmations or a motivational quote or a bible verse about being strong and remaining positive? That way, when you feel yourself stressed you can read those to yourself and meditate on them. It's HARD not letting someone elses negative…

Hubby logs all condiments and salt/pepper/spices. Not for calorie purposes, but to track nutritional intake, making sure he's not abnormally high or glaringly deficient in one or more particular vitamins/minerals, etc....

1) Don't freak out. 2) Start drinking a lot of water. If you aren't already doing so, make sure you are getting AT LEAST 8 glasses of water a day. This will flush your system of toxins and discourage water retention. 3) Watch your sodium intake, especially a week or so before the wedding. Steer clear of processed, canned,…

Maybe to bring her attention to it without embarassing her, say "I am SO sorry about the last session! I got home and realized my deodorant quit on me and I did not smell so good! I have on clinical strength stuff today, so I shouldn't have that problem today!"....or something to that effect. It might subliminally trigger…

Nay. For no other reason than it causes me too much gastric distress. I quit drinking Diet Coke/Dr Pepper 6 months ago and my IBS symptoms have been tremendously reduced.

When was the last time you revisited your diet "profile" on MFP? I am 5'7", 160lbs and my daily calorie intake is 1200 calories. Granted, this increases with the exercise I complete every day. It may be that 1600 calories was great at 209lbs, but now that you have lost a good deal, you might want to adjust. Congrats on…

1) Record EVERYTHING you eat/drink. Don't fudge your diary, it will show on the scale if you do. 2) Don't beat yourself up if you have a day where you just blow it. We all do, just get back on the program the next day. 3) There is no magical formula, except to decrease calories and increase activity. 4) A loss is a loss is…

Yes. Usually a pound or so. I try and drink tons of water and not go over on calories that week. I also notice that I'm pretty sluggish that week while exercising, but try and push through it. My biggest weight losses are usually the week after my period. I suppose it's because I'm no longer retaining water.

Sometimes THIRST masks itself as feeling HUNGRY. Whenever I feel like I could raid the fridge, I stop and drink 8 oz of water first and give myself a few minutes. Usually, the feeling passes. Eating an apple is great as well, low in calories and takes quite a bit longer to eat than gobbling up something else in record…
