Yep been getting mine for about 18 yrs and have gained and lost every time, goes with the territory.0

Usually I don't, but I've gained a pound and a half since Friday and started today. Figures. Hopefully a bit of that will be gone before my official weigh-in on Wednesday.0

I hold water weight for about a week before quickly dropping a few pounds.0

oh my yes, usually right before, but I try not to change anything. Usually gain 5-7 pounds, usually go back down to normal, plus loose more, but dont change anything: diet or exercise
This ^ and yes i weigh myself everyday, also during TOM0 -
Yes. Usually a pound or so. I try and drink tons of water and not go over on calories that week. I also notice that I'm pretty sluggish that week while exercising, but try and push through it. My biggest weight losses are usually the week after my period. I suppose it's because I'm no longer retaining water.0

YES!! 2 pounds every time. I always lose it in the few days following the end. I have learned not to get on the scale that week and if I do not to worry about what is says. It is not fat. In order to gain 2 lbs of fat I would have to eat 7000 extra cals!!!
Just stay eating healthy and working out... the scale is only a piece of the pie!0 -
I guess I am a "Freak" as one girl put it. I use to years ago gain weight like crazywhen I got my period about 5 to 10 lbs. Then Lose it. After.
But lately been losing weight when I get my period and even after wards. I do crave food and eat (usually at night munchies) and weight myself and still loose more weight (a lb or 2). Its weird.
I keep myself hydrated very well too. Stick to your diet and excercise and drink your water. Try to hide the scale during that time.
But when I did gain on my period a week befor, during it a long time ago I gained a lot and it freaked me big time. But lost it after it went away. So I think thats normal to gain. Just keep excercising, eating well, and stay hydrated. Everyone is different.
But normal I think is gain I notice from what everyone post and my past experience. Just my body is changing for some reason lately. Wonder why.0 -
I usually am up to 5 pounds heavier a week before mine, and then it drops off when I get my period. I'm always noticeably puffy too.
It honestly doesn't matter, it's just a natural part of your cycle.0 -
I do, ALWAYS - something like 5 lbs a couple of days before Tom arrives. But for some weird reason, I haven't this time. My diet and water and sodium intake and everything are exactly the same as they've been for months now. I double checked. But I'm still losing weight, instead of gaining water weight. Very freaky. :ohwell:0

Definitely do - I swell up like a sponge, so I try not to weigh that week because it is so disheartening. My weight usually returns to pre-period weight once it is all over.0

No I don't , but I do suffer from bloating though0
