I gain a little in the couple of days leading up to it.. I know when it's coming and I know it's not a permanent gain. It comes off straight after

    Why was this resurrected?

I am guessing it was the search function at work.

Well. . . at least the search function is being used. :flowerforyou:

I gain about 5 pounds of water weight every time. Severely annoying, especially when you're dieting.

I usually do gain weight in that time frame so if I really have to weigh myself I take it lightly for this period... It's probably just water retention!

Last period, I didn't gain anything. However, the scale didn't move a few days later on weigh-in day when I know I probably lost weight. Today is weigh in day again & I lost a good amount, most of which I assume I actually lost last week. If that makes sense.

Typically, I gain and it doesn't go away until a day or so after my period ends. It can range anywhere from 2lbs-10lbs for me. Stay hydrated and stay away from the scale is my only advice.

Maybe this explains the weight gain.

You're gonna want to be more careful with your comments, Jof. Iulia is in a very sensitive state right now

    My first thought was:

    child: "maybe it's a tumor."

    Arnold: "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!"
