Make sure to always have "healthy" snacks in your fridge, healthy in this case low calorie (e.g. cherrie tomatoes, carrot sticks etc), so that when you do get the munchies, it will not directly end up on your hips.

Talking of bananas, put one peeled in the freezer (about one to two hours), then mush it with 1 tsp cacao powder, best schocolate ice cream ever!

Well done! Now you can run with your kids and have all the fun you ever wanted.

Packed is maybe the wrong word, you want to avoid processed food.

Thank you all for your comments Thanks heybales, that's what I thought for the time being I think just counting steps will do for me, as I do mainly walking and just a bit strength training

Hi, very often people have put in the calorie amount for a foods, however figures for potassium, vitamins etc. is not given as they did not know them, therefore don't believe the figures of some of the key nutriens.

Hi Sillycat, next time something like this happens, the best is to smile and wave (nicely, not the finger) at them, that drives them really mad lol.

Try Pilates or similar things, yoga etc. Better than nothing, once you have a "reputation" as a sport freak, start running up the stairs

I actually prefer fat joghurt, not the fat reduced, as they have more sugar, and to be honest, when I eat a fat reduced, I am hungry again after 10 minutes, but if I eat a full fat one, it get sme through to the next meal. So even though more calories, it actually doea something for me. Just make it fit into your diet. And…

Look, I don't like that either, so I don't read those posts. It's under the fun section, and a lot of people have fun with it, so let them. Don't think it gives the forum or MFP a bad reputation. Chill out my friend.

I weigh it before it is cooked, so I put in MFP like raw chicken, then I add olive oil if I fry it, or I just do it in the oven, don't forget to add your spices.

We had some leaving parties at the office, I sampled a lot of different foods, put small portions. I took a small plate, cut the cheeses etc, in portions where I could estimate their weight, had even a very small piece of cake, tried different quiches, and still was able to keep within my calorie goal for the day. Small…

H, I am 54 and find loosing weight with MFP very easy so far. It is in principle no "diet", you just police your calorie intake. Little sins are actually "allowed", had a Magnum gold the other day, and did not blew my plan. Keep at it and do not get frustrated when you don't loose monster numbers. Enjoy your food and life.

You turned from granny into a 20 something! FANTASTIC!
-
maybe you expect too much?
-
???
-
you want to avoid starvation mode, have some treats, Magnum gold, yummy, or a milk shake for your calcium intake, apples for vitamins etc.
