Depends what kind of working out you want to do. Cardio? Do a bike instead of running. Weight training? Proper form is key, lots of exercises that you can do that are easy on the back.

I know the feeling. I feel lost and confused at the weight section of the gym. My solution isn't for everyone but I went out and used a personal trainer for 3 months and now I just do what I did with him on my own.

I did the program when I first started running. I was about 80lbs overweight. It took me 11 weeks to complete it and run my first 5k. Some of the later weeks took me longer to do but that's ok. My first 5k I ran in about 45 minutes. Now I'm running 5k in 24-25minutes and I'm about 15lbs from my ideal weight. Its a great…

I find if you want to fuel for a long run try eating approx. 40g of carbs and 20g of Protein about 1.5 hours before the run. This will give your body time to take in the food and you shouldn't feel the food during your run.

I learned at a young age from a Soccer coach to breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. This helps to prevent cramps. which I believe to be true. When I'm running and I feel a cramp coming on I take deeper inhales through the nose and after a minute or so the cramp goes away.
