Does anyone else find this part odd and far fetched…? Seems like somebody could have done a better job explaining this to her son. Sounds like he has the over-reacting bug as well.

This is a great program. I think its costs $17 though. http://www.niashanks.com/the-beautiful-badass-bodyweight-guide2/

It basically makes you go to the bathroom. Its nothing magical that will make you miraculously lose weight. Stick to using MFP to create a caloric deficit, its all you need. Stay away from gimmicks and fads as much as possible. Good luck achieving your goals.

I can't answer unless you give names. You know, for a scientific response.

I don't think you told us if you're married to him or not?
-
Actually, you should think before YOU post. OP didn't say anything about be vegan for ethical reasons. She only spoke about it in regards to weight loss. uscmp's response is still valid.

Might not work for your situation, but when i get these on my Bday, Its a HAPPY Bday.

You have posted in the past about your disordered eating, and your distorted body image view. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1334375-binge-eating-the-never-ending-cycle-of-self-sabotage I don't think a book like this is going to help you. Being on something so restrictive is likely to set you into a binge cycle…

I just ran your numbers.. I will PM you.

Can you please read those posts I linked above? Here they are again. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1343719-get-rich-quick?hl=get+rich+quick http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants You will still lose because MFP has already included your caloric deficit…

You don't look like you have very much to lose. 2 lbs a week is only meant for people who have 75+ pounds to lose. This is a common mistake that newbies make. In regards to maintenance, when you hit your goal, you will then adjust your MFP settings to "maintain", and you eat back your exercise calories as well. Yes, its a…
-
MFP is designed with your deficit already factored in. That being said, it can often overestimate your burn. Most people feel safe eating 50-75% of them back, give or take.
-
Well than you aren't eating enough. If you only have 10 pounds to lose, you need to set your goal to .5 or 1 lb a week, and start eating back your exercise calories. You will start losing if you do that IMO.
-
There are SO many factors to this. 1. How much weight do you have left to lose? If you set your goal to lose 2lbs per week, and you don't have over 75lbs to lose, then you're doing it wrong. 2. Are u weighing all your food with a digital scale? 3. Why are you not eating back your exercise calories back? MFP already factors…
-
You only have 40 pounds left to lose, so 1-1.5 a week is a more realistic target for you. Change your settings to that, and YES get a digital scale. This one is great and is less than $15…

I think that is sort of a trick question for me personally. I am "cutting" right now, and I don't plan on always being on a cut of course. When I get to my goal, I will be maintaining, which is different. Either way, I will be eating the same foods, just different amounts.
-
Thats awesome! I totally think you can hit that goal by next year! Keep up the good work :drinker:

Who cares what we think. You're an adult, right?

I think taking a chill pill is the best advice I've got for ya.

If you love yourself more just the way you are now, people might be more receptive to you,

I'll drink to that.
