I gained my 50 lb while on Zoloft. I counted calories and still couldn't lose weight even a few months after stopping the medication... The best thing to do, imo, is ask your doctor to change medications to see if that helps...

To my understanding that's called exhaustion. Rest for a couple days, sleep more and eat better.

OMG THAT'S F***ING AWESOME!!!!!!:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

How about stopping the pickiness?? We are omnivores, after all... the world is ours to eat!!
-
Hey, that was my idea, lol! I'd say start the diary first, just because tummy issues seem to be avoidable so far... a month's worth?

That's an allergic reaction too. I'm allerlgic to dust and I "only" sneeze...

The weird thing is that if she was allergic to corn, she would be suffering a lot more... a LOT of processed foods if not all of them have corn in a way or another. What does she eat regularly? Someone else said carbs, It might have sounded annoying to you, but some people don't deal with carbs very well... Make a list of…

I'm in the exact same place right now... we get thinner, it's more difficult to lose weight. You are exercising so that creates muscle mass... you might be looking thinner but weighing the same. I think it's normal.

Uh uh, careful with preaching avoiding fats... fats are essential! And to the original poster: I don't think it makes a difference in weight loss, but it does in how your body works. A well balanced diet with tons of veggies will make you feel better, have more energy than a diet of junk food. That being said, some junnk…

Funny. You grew up thinking you can drink from a faucet, me being Mexican grew up KNOWING that water from the faucet is NOT good to drink. I irk at YOUR people drinking water from the faucet... hehe
-
I'm Mexican and I would more readily put my life on a good Mexican doctor than on an American one. Doctors in many other countries are better prepared than in here. This is my experience after 10 years in the US.

Agree. Unless you have a castle, running inside is not really running.
-
Wow... I would take notes for next time, and I would eat as healthily as possible and barely enough to fill me up

I have like 6 friends and just one of them ever says something to my posts... I do say stuff to them but hey, I'm no friend to worry about. Should I just keep the one? :D

Nope. It makes me nauseous after about a scoop.

I suck it up

That's great! Take it from someone that has never drank soda and has never understood why people do. It's disguting.

Wake up really early.

Haha, this is funny. Being poor is not really a reason to poison yourself, ya know?

It's not true that we don't REALLY care. I don't know you, but I still came back to this post to see if you said something else. It's just empathy, that's true, but that's what makes us social beings anyway... What I'm saying is I CARE about you. From the moment I read your post... You're going through a difficult time and…

It's strange that you define your bulimic state as being "happy with your body", because the bulimic reaction in itself is hate... Associating it with any positive things is dangerous, especially for you. Hope you are getting help with that. You could make a commitment different from losing weight... run a marathon, a…

I've been losing a pound a week for months now. To be honest I can't lose more than that (I've tried) because I'm not that big... and I don't have an eating disorder. Stick to a pound a week, it feels slow but it's the healtiest way to do it, and you probably won't ever feel deprived.

Strenghten your abs... so do ab work, lose more weight, and wear girdles now and then. Yep. Girdles reaccomodate you organs inside the cavity of your body and little by little reduce the bulge. I've used them my whole life and have no bulge (just excess fat right now)...
-
You are losing fast enough. That's the way this works... If you want to lose even faster, eat less than those 1800 cals, but never less than 1200 a day.
-
Whaaaaaaa! lol! that's reall funny...
-
Have you seen an overflowing glass of water? Liquid goes "down" until it can't and then it goes... (drum roll)... out! :drinker:

Commonly known as gravity, hehe!

Yeah your husband has nothing to do with it. You haven't chosen to eat less of the meals you cook, as you should. A good place to start is to take responsibility, then you'll start losing the weight... good luck!
