  • Down 2.4 lb since last week's weigh-in, but that seems like a lot... I may have been dehydrated? I had a few bad weeks in between that I haven't been posting... >:) I'm only down 3.8 lb since July 22nd, but I did lose an additional 5.4 lb between July 5th and July 22nd that I'm not counting here! NSV: I've logged my weight…

  • The only part that disappointed me is that the HP reference didn't make it into the TL;DR. Good luck on the rest of your progress! :)
  • I just got back from a week-long work trip that involved free food and even more free drinks. I'm still down 4-5 lbs since the beginning of July (and almost 40 lbs overall), but I'm pretty much back at square 1 for the Halloween Challenge. :'( I'm tracking/graphing my weight and I also see little peaks at every Monday…
  • Honestly, I think 1lb in a week is great! I don't know about you, but my weight has fluctuated over 6 lb within 2 days, so if you're truly seeing a 1 lb drop in weight and it's not due to water retention (salt/glycogen) or what's left in your colon :o then I think you're doing a great job! I'd rather be conservative and…
  • Last week: 0.4 lb This week: 1.6 lb Halloween Challenge 2015 Loss: 2 lb NSV: I'm getting much better at only eating half of my work lunch and saving the other half for the next day - it's also saving me money! :)
  • I guess I should get on the list! From July 22nd to Halloween, I hope to have lost 13 lbs - unless I start gaining muscle by then! Undecided, but hopefully something risqué.

  • I was only down 0.4 lbs from July 22nd to the 29th - but that included a weekend of poor eating :# and I'm down 7.6 lbs since early July. I have been so-so at maintaining my goal but great at staying in the 165-175 lbs range. Even that seems fine compared to my initial weight of 213 lbs in 2011.
  • I also had a series of horrible, delicious setbacks this weekend. I had Mexican food for 4 meals in a row (not even mad about it) - one of which involved mango margaritas. Then my friends and I had a "Cheese Fest" last night. We ate grilled cheese with selections of cheddar, goat, Parmesan, port wine, and blue cheese…
  • I had it for the first time this morning! I was surprisingly good - and going from 190 calories to 45 calories is a big deal for me (2 tablespoons). I'm already eating 1/2 sandwiches (I don't know why I like eating PB&J for breakfast? lol) but it's still tough to feel satisfied at lunch or dinner unless I eat a crazy…
  • Wow! I would hardly consider that picture "old" - so much progress in only 4-5 month! Congratulations!
  • I try to stay away from snacking. I always eat 3 meals (bigger meals earlier in the morning are better for me) and sometimes 1 snack (almonds, plain greek yogurt, something with fat and protein) before or after lunch - depending on the day. I find if I snack throughout the day, it's never on anything healthy (read: carbs)…
  • Also my Achilles' heel.
