So do two of her workouts, or add 30 min to one of them. :)

you can check my diary... I tend to have a hard boiled egg and cottage cheese for breakfast and then at lunch I'll have PB2 on a whole grain 1/3 less calorie english muffin and a banana.

From one cuban and to another, you look great! Keep it up!

Seriously awesome! We started the same time, and yet I've only lost 3 lbs and still look like your before photo, lol! Would love to hear more about your diet. :)

Another Reason: You aren't accurately measuring calories burned with a HRM. I find that MFP overestimates C's burned for ME, and I was really in "maintaining weight" mode.
-
GPS is much more accurate. You have to calibrate the stupid foot pod for accuracy a couple times a season. :/
-
Thanks, I'll have to give this a try. Once I'm done working out, I generally upload the workout, and see the C's burned on the computer.

Does your 305 use GPS or a foot pod that measures cadence? I'm just now reading in the Garmin forums that Garmin uses an algorithm that measures cadence, speed, and weight for calories, and not the actual HR. Which bums me out, b/c I'm sweating like a pig during my WO video, even though I'm not actually jogging anywhere.

I think I found my weight loss issue. I wore my Heart Rate Monitor to accurately measure my calories burned today. I am amazed at the difference between what MFP says I would have burned (500 c's) vs what I did burn (305). So, my weight loss issue is that I thought I was burning more, thus I was eating more, and probably…

THANK YOU so much for all of this great info. I need to study everything that was written here and try to apply some new tactics. Again, I appreciate it.... I also agree that my body is used to cardio, and I do need to introduce heavier lifting.

GREAT before & after story!

We're in the home stretch! Hows everyone hanging in there? I take Sunday's as a rest day. Yesterday I did both levels 2 & 3.... great burn! Is everyone up to moving on to Ripped in 30 on June 1?

Thanks!

I hate the v lifts too. Level 3 is super intense. Two days of that in a row, and your core is screaming! I'm actually grunting with the video.

Totally agree about running outside. Try to run 4 times a week. Two regular runs of about 3.5- 4 miles, bonus if you choose a route with hills. One fartlek run of 2.5- 3 miles... Sprint as fast as you can, jog to recover, repeat for the 3 miles. Then you have your long run of at least 5-6 miles. As for strength, you can…

Maybe something in your diet isn't working. Try eating more whole wheat. Or eating more protein. By tweaking it here and there you can see how your body responds.

THiS! A specially store analyzes your gait and foots flexibility, and puts you in the right shoes for you. I love my Fleet Feet store.

No apologies! We're all here to learn. :)

5 miles and level 3 done. Goodness I'm knackered!
-
Oh yeah! Bc running is a jumping motion.

Great thread!

Thanks for your help. *I* know why I should eat my calories, but explaining it to DH wasn't going well. Thanks also to the snark... I'm pretty sure your mom taught you better.

I started level 3 today. I've been doing 30DS along with running 3-4 miles OR 1/2 of workout 1 of 6 week 6 Pack Abs. I've lost 3 lbs, and I do feel like I'm starting to see definition.

Cut back to once or twice a week for treats....
