I too am low carb and do a lot of lettuce wraps. But I started to burn out, so I've been doing Atkins breakfast bar (usually the cranberry almond) and an Atkins Shake. I also have a Plain Oikos greek yoghurt with a scattering of fresh blueberries. The meal is about 400 calories, packed with protein, and with 6 net carbs…

Saute garlic in olive oil. Add chopped spinach and sauté til wilted. Add pint of halved cherry tomatoes. Stir in cooked rotini (your wheat rotini) with 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water. Stir in 3/4 cup shredded asiago cheese and 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. Stir well, serve. One of our family faves!!!

10 miles week two 10 miles week three I ran in a local 10K over the weekend. 9th in my age bracket, 69th over all (out of 395 ...top 20%!). I guess all the fasties were in the 10k, as my pace would have placed me first on the 5K stand...lol. A little disappointed I didn't do better... But this is still early in the season…

1) When you run in warm temperatures, lets say 75-100 degrees, what distance do you have to be going in order to bring water with you? 27 g per bagel is not low carb! What's the fiber? You subract fiber from the carb. I eat 25-35 grams in an entire day!

I scramble eggs and a chopped up ham steak. I actually make 3 days worth at a time ( 9 eggs with 1 ham steak) and just reheat in the microwave. I also eat an Atkins Bar (like the chocolate PB crisp bar or cranberry bar) and an Atkins Shake. Both the eggs/ ham, and bar/ shake are Low-Carb and are 300ish calories. The Atkins…
