Yesterday was not a good day. I ate over 1800 calories of candy and I didn’t exercise. I was doing this every day and I lost 3.8 lbs. I stopped and gained 2.4. It sometimes seems that when I get on the scale and see success, I begin to sabotage myself. Well, I’ve gained back 20lbs that worked hard as heck to lose. I know a lot of that is due to COVID because I’d stopped going to the gym. I know the biggest reason is what I’m eating though. So, just for today Log everything Log it before eating it Be aware of portions Exercise 30 minutes

✅ I am having a bad time. I keep eating and eating and it’s making me sick and bloated and miserable. I know binge eating is not a food problem, it’s a feelings problem. I just can’t seem to get to those feelings.

Well, I logged everything and I actually only ate one serving of whatever I ate. I went over my calorie goal but I tracked it. I’m calling that a win.

@TiffanyPe17 I’ve been struggling with not stepping on the scale too. It’s sad that I feel like that number will validate me in some way. You are right about staying consistent. That’s what will pay off in the end. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself! Today is over for me but I did track everything.

✅ I went back to the gym and I can see why I’ve gained back some weight. There’s no comparison between me doing some low impact aerobics and using the elliptical. I felt the difference immediately.
