Research says that Zumba burns between 500-1000 calories an hour....That said the only way to know exactly how much you burn is with a HRM! My first zumba class I brunt 500 calories. It just all depends on what intensity, weight, height and all that to know exactly what you burn! Hope this helps! =)

Only way to get an accurate calculation is a HRM! But on average it burns between 500-1000 calories per hour. My first time doing Zumba I burnt 500 calories, so you definitely can burn quite a bit in a Zumba Class depending on your ability to keep up with your instructor! Hope that helps a bit :))

I tried it once and almost passed out...not sure if it was cuz its soooo much cardio or lack of food before doing it! But i haven't done it since, It's been awhile I should try it again! I have all the other Jillian DVD's and Biggest Loser Dvds and love em!♥
