You would probably do better with a protein shake mix, I get the Body Fortress one from Walmart and it is good. I add fresh fruit and ice cubes to it and it's tasty and filling. You could also use milk or yogurt, etc. I have used Herbalife in the past and it's no different than the cheaper ones at Walmart, Costco, etc.…

I do this... I eat lower some days and 'cheat' others. Has worked for me. I also don't eat back my exercise calories to account for those extra calories. It works for me. Helps me get thru the week knowing I can splurge a bit and get my cravings in. I look at it more as a weekly total not a daily total.

ohhh just you wait, you will LOVE it so much more in a few more weeks. My pic is post op week 2 to 5, the swelling change is unbelievable!

It doesn't necessarily have to do with being tightened up enough with this 'flab' that you see on these women. It's more the fact that the skin above the incision will always be thicker than the skin below your incision (ie upper abdo skin being attached to pelvic skin). If they had lost more weight it may have helped but…

I don't watch WD, but 'we're on Daryl's team' made me laugh and I'd do that. Any of them are great :) I'd get together to practice, may need it. Heading back to the gym tomorrow, first time in 6 weeks

any ideas for a name?

...pic not working, boo. Was my before.

Yes and no, I had the abs repaired and my upper stomach is night and day... as is the lower. I think it depends what work you plan to get done and when you look at before/after pics and talk to people make sure you are comparing the SAME surgeries. Full tummy tucks with abs repair, mini tummy tucks (don't go to your hips),…

Agree! I'd probably just be thankful the divorce was done!

Awesome job, you look fantastic. Isn't it funny that once we get into exercise and find what we enjoy doing, we end up LOVING it and craving it.

I am 5 weeks post op and your sensation comment made me laugh. I have this problem. I will touch my right side on my incision but feel it about 4 cm up. It's so weird. I've had a csection and remember sensation issues/numbness with that, but it all came back to be fairly normal. I had my TT 8 years to the day after my…

You look fantastic, good work! I totally under the scale obsession, ugh! but I think you will LOVE your body with the weights too!!!

Woohoo Leanne is in too And going to ask my boyfriend's sister in law. She likes to do this stuff too.

I got the email today :) :) last year was so much fun. I am in, should we come up with a team name and do that again? I know last year we talked about doing 'uniforms/costumes' or whatever word you wanna use - I seem to be drawing a blank. I got really side tracked last week and mud hero went out the window. Need to look…

First off, congrats!!!! that's awesome, be proud of yourself. Secondly, I knew it was in my cards. I had twins and they ruined the tummy. I was very self conscious when I started to date again, even so my bf of 8 months I didn't want to see me naked. I only got comfortable with the big belly a week or two before I had my…

I am 33/F/5'6''/twins After highschool I always had weight to lose, then I gained 80lbs when pregnant with twins and got up to 280 in late 2005. I lost 40 lbs gained it back rinse and repeat about 3 times. I didn't start to put an honest effort into losing the weight until 2011 so I carried it for awhile. I have lost 88…

I think it depends on your age and your geographical area. I really liked Eharmony - and met my boyfriend there. I liked that they selected your matches and sent you about 6 a day. I never went overwhelmed by the endless pages of profiles to look at. While I obviously didn't connect with everyone I found the people to be…

Agree.... I need to keep logging.... I give myself a comfort zone though as weighing the same each week forever is just pure insanity! haha!

Maintenance was hard for me. I got to eat a bit more, but that got away from me and I gained 10 lbs :( This time I am logging all the time, I am signing in everyday (which I do anyways, I have a lot of friends on here), and sticking to a plan. I need to learn to maintain better -- I did good from Sept - April, then life…

I'll be honest, I haven't been on their site - wobbspsfl was doing the searching. Hopefully 230 is still available, at this point I am sure it will, but let me look into how to register. Jennifer, we can definitely figure something out. I don't mind driving. (it's my turn after you drove to Cochrane!)

ohhh and we did the Zombie Survivor this summer and some people didn't know eachother yet - and we were still able to all meet up! so no worries there.

Stretch marks will never go away, you have stretched the skin! They will go white/silver after awhile but I know that doesn't help! I can see mine and I don't really care... but I am sure a lot of people will post some creams that will help - shea butter, vit E, etc. ETA: skin shrinking back is genetics - as is stretch…

That's ok! We probably just can't carpool as easy!

Interesting, with my first pair of Asics after about 7-8 months I felt I had worn them out - weren't as supportive and I did notice a small hole in the baby toe area. I do wear them 5-7 days a week so time frame they last didn't bother me. Now I wear them to work! But if the new pair does this (hole in baby toe area)I may…

When I was sized at the Running Room I was told to get 1/2 up in size, but when I was at the gym wearing them they were just too big for me so I got my regular size and did fine. Maybe try 1/2 size up and see? Most places don't mind if you workout in them once or twice if you don't wear them outside or scuff them up. I…

Incredible, you look fantastic!

If your FT4 has the chest strap and you wore it, then the HRM is most accurate. Equipment is not overally accurate, especially if you don't put any of your stats in. The most accurate way is the HRM with chest strap.
