Hook grip can go suck a ... My hands are too small and I about tore my thumb nail from its bed trying to do this.

No thank you.

There are brand new ones on ebay for 30-35

I think they still sell the Fitbit Zip, which should be pretty inexpensive.

Deadlifts

I think it might affect other things that would affect my gym performance, like your lack of sleep because of the pain, but I never noticed a direct correlation. If anything, I just adjust my gym days during that week because as I've gotten older, my periods suck more. Day 1 is awful.
-
You just have to suck it up and do it. Or find something else to do that doesn't intimidate you so much. The motivation has to come from you or you'll never get anywhere.

I wouldn't (and don't) use MFP exercise calories at all. 99% of them are inaccurate/way too high.
-
I had a Charge HR and it was okay, but not for lifting. I barely got any additional calories for it. I wore it for 3 months, it gave me the same info the Fitbit One gave me a year and a half prior, so I sold it.
-
I was going to say Fitbit Charge HR, but you can't use it for swimming.

Runkeeper is pretty easy to use

Oh sorry, I didn't realize you were a female! I'm no expert on the subject, but I have this strength vs. aesthetics debate with myself often. For me, I've decided that I want to be strong first and hot second, so I train for strength using an 8/6/3 format with some accessories in the hypertrophy range. When my diet was on…

Your diet is a large factor also. @LolBroScience trains mainly for strength and looks pretty damn good and cut.

I was once in your boat (still kind of am). I started lifting early on and I started with Stronglifts. Yes, it took longer to see a change on the scale, but it did eventually happen. Make sure your diet is on point, start lifting, and be consistent with it. After about 6 months of SL, I went to a split routine. I lost the…

Squats, deadlifts, a good diet, and patience.
-
After 15 months of SL I would be dying of boredom. I would look into other programs since you're essentially changing the entire SL program so much that it isn't even SL anymore.
-
I would lift first then run, but that's because my primary goal is to be stronger and lift heavier, not be a runner.

This is why we can't have nice things

You were greatly misinformed. There are many people on this site (myself included) who lost a ton of body fat without ever doing a minute of cardio. It comes down to a calorie deficit.

Captain Obvious to the rescue

Even though you've been fitted, they still might not be the right shoes for you. How long have you had them? I used to wear Asics-2000 series religiously, but they changed the model slightly and they never fit the same way.
-
I mean, it's a matter of preference. I don't really like cardio; I mainly strength train and do cardio once or twice a week, but bodyweight training will definitely require a decent amount of energy.
-
That makes sense and I'm glad you're happy. I'd look into some bodyweight programs and just do the upper body portion if you're looking for something else to do today. You Are Your Own Gym is a good program and there's an app for it too.

Today, in general, both. Idk, 17-25k steps/day seems like a lot. I had over 16k steps on Saturday, but that was from unpacking a moving truck. I couldn't imagine that being the norm for me every day.

If I was trying to heal an injured foot, I most definitely would not be doing 30DS. Why so much exercise?
-
I'm assuming the 1600 from Fitbit is your total calories burned so far today. MFP isn't going to show you that; it's showing you your calorie goal is based on the info it's getting from Fitbit. That 500 you're seeing is the adjustment based on your activity.

You asked one, vague question and the public is supposed to know that you meant all that^^^? Lulz.

I can see how you'd be confused, as this is a dating site.
