I'm just being realistic. The choices will be day to day, but I know there will be more temptation and sometimes I will choose to "stuff my face." I didn't ask for judgmental, ****-headed comments, I asked for tips and advice. Thank you to those of you who are willing to help without judging. It means a lot.

Thanks for the tips. I will Google what you suggested. Walking is a good idea...he is mobile, but hates walking--but I could probably get him to chill in his wheel chair with his iPad and we could walk. That's a good idea. Thanks a bunch for the ideas.

What are macros? And when I am adding my food into my diary and it says a number in red, for instance, "fat -1," what does that mean? That I am eating too much fat? thanks, G
