Increase your cardio in incriments as well as your strength training. You should also try different forms of exercise so ou can target different muscle groups. I'd say try swimming, that is a good workout that should help your plateau. Good luck!

Good job! It's good that you are monitoring your BP.

Keep it up!

Wow! Way to go!

Usuayll when you see the same people day after day they won't notice. That's how it was for me at first. Of course there were a couple friends who didn't say anythig because they were jealous. But the important thing is that you notice the change.

I had a similar problem. I made homemade granola with raisins and ate lots of carrots.

I had my gall bladder removed and I dealt with the attacks for 2 years. Turns out I had HUNDREDS of stones. It was about to burst. Unfortunately a side effect of that is my mass amounts food sensitivities and food allergies on top of being a vegetarian my diet is limited. My attacks usually came from acids and anything…

My favorite oddly enough is cucumbers. I love raw vegetables but for 2 years I couldn't eat them because of a stomach/pancreas problem. Now I can eat them; so cukes, celery and an apple are my go to snack!

Keep up the good work! You have lost so much already and look fantastic!

I have been on a very high dose of Synthroid for 12 years. I don't produce any of the hormones. I've had times where I don't take it and I gain weight really fast. As soon as I'm back on it I lose a lot weight faster and I have more energy. Everyone's body has different reactions to Synthroid but it should increase your…

I can't see why fresh fruit would hinder you more than it would be helpful. I'm a vegetarian so I eat a lot of fruit. Most fruit is full of vitamins, proteins and antioxidants. Sure the carbs/sugars are high. But it's still healthy. If you feel like fruit is hindering your weight loss than eat just the recommended amount.…

That's awesome that they have a ticker for that. It's been about 8 weeks for me. I'm using the patch and I RARELY have a craving.

I'm 5'3" and my goal goal is 125lbs. I think anything under that is too much for me.

I use Quaker low sugar oatmeal packets. It fills me up. It's only 120 calories but if you add some almonds or walnuts it will add a lot of calories

I totally see what you are saying. MFP says between 125-140lbs for me, but my doctor says 120- 135lbs. Both possible, but I can't imagine anything below 130. My advice would be to stick with the healthy BMI. From everything that I've learned BMI is the way to go. My goal weight is 135-138lbs so it's with in the MFP range.…

I'm the same way too...all ribs. When I lost my first few pounds I looked like unhealthy in the ribs and chest. But my ribs like protrude out almost. I don't know it's weird. However I can't lose in my mid-section. The physiology of weight lost within our own bodies is so confusing. Just keep at it.

Wow that's awesome! Great job! I really want to try P90X but it's no in my budget. Does anyone know of some less expensive alternatives that show similar results? I workout everyday at home, but I know P90x is really good for kicking your butt!

First of all, congratulations on your goal weight! That is awesome. Your new goal should be maintaining your new weight, at least with in 2lbs. Continue counting the calories. Once you stop, you could gain the weight right back. Good luck!

Family! They are overly concerned about nothing and love to nit pick everything in our lives. It's your money. You can buy what you want. Especially if it's for a healthier living. We all have someone in our families that will rag on us for what we do with ourselves. I equate it to jealousy or deflection. They are jealous…

I feel you pain! I was meeting with scale about 5 times a day. But the weird thing is once I started weighing myself once a week, I fell off track. I kept telling myself that I can just make up for it another day. Something was not connecting. I know, I know, I'm doing a very bad thing by weighing myself once a day, but…

I think you diary looks fine. It's better than mine, that's for sure!! But if you feel you need to cut something out, I would cut out fruit and add veggies.

I'd be happier losing inches than weight! My first month I didn't understand how I lost 6 inches in my waist and thighs but only lost 10lbs. It's still a bit of a mystery. But it's probably all muscle weight. Which is still better than fat. Muscle takes up less space in the body so if you are gaining muscle and lacking…

Red delicious apples dipped in cinnamon! I could eat that all day!

I used to be obsessed with the scale when I started. Seeing the amount going down, down, down. Now I know why they say weigh yourself once a week. Your weight can fluctuate daily, if not hourly. I learned that the number it told me one second versus the other is false. Weighing in weekly gives your body and your scale a…

That's so amazing! Keep up the good work.

I'm a vegetarian. I'd be a vegan but I'm allergic too ALOT of food so I would not get the necessary nutrition. But good for everyone who is. It's a powerful thing. Wish I could help you along!!

Love this!! People just don't understand the relationship. If you never had a dog you don't get it!!
