Weight lifting and resistance workouts are the best way to shred inches and fat. If you work hard during your workout, your body will continue to burn afterwards. I

In all honesty if you truly care about him than you need to have a courageous conversation with him about how you feel. If there aren't any feelings for him from you than you need to do what is best for you. It is easy to say cut and run. No matter what I hope you are okay with what you do. You should be free to do as you…

Levi's and Express are great. I hate GAP jeans! They are awful!

Glad to know that I'm not the only one struggling with hypothroidism. I've had it since I was 13 and I've been on or around 200 mcg since then. It's my own fault that my weight goes up and down because I am not consistent with taking it but I'm better now. Does anyone else notice a big difference when they take it? I…

That sounds like such a good alternative. You could really play with that too by using chocolate graham crackers too!

Go with the consensus! The max you should try is 2lbs a week. But if you drastically cut your calories and don't exercise your body will go into 'starvation mode'. If you really want to make changes, lower you carbohydrate intake, up your protein and do strenghth training workouts. You should also be on the lookout of gain…

I've been a vegetarian for over a year. I always told myself I would do it. I loved red meat and hated pork and poultry which is pretty backwards. I made the mistake of just diving into it head first and totally blind. My best advice for you is research what meals you like and find the vegetarian/vegan alternative. That…

I would say get a workout done in the morning. Eat some low sugar oatmeal before you go out because it is filling and substantial if you are drinking. As for drinks, drink clear liquids. Stay away from heavy mixed drinks (long island iced tea, cosmopolitan, etc) the are high in sugar and full of calories. Your best bet is…

The consensus seems to be the same as me. In the morning is generally the best time to weigh yourself but more importantly you must be consistent. If you weigh yourself first thing, than you must always do it that way.

Good job! Keep meeting those goals. Cheers!

The Black Eyed Peas "The E.N.D." it's always playing for me while I workout.

I do both since I do strength training. I think it's good practice to do both.

Im 5'3"! I'm trying to get to 130. But my ultimate goal is 120lbs. I can't imagine myself at 120lbs. But that's why it's a goal

You should be really proud of yourself, you look so different. Even better is that you feel good about yourself. Keep it up and good luck in the future!

I would just use the HRM for your workouts. I find it tedious to count every calorie I burn through out my day. I'd stick to counting your cardio and strength training workouts.

Wow!! That's a lot of weight to lose in one week.

Try the low sugar oatmeal packets! Also you could try putting granola in low fat yogurt and have a banana.

First of all, for everyone that has quit, you are awesome keep it up! I was unable to quit cold turkey. I used 'the patch' which was a success. I started MFP a month before I quite which was very helpful. My advice is don't smoke the last cigarette but also you might want to consider using 'the patch'. It helps take the…

That happens to me. There are a lot of differing factors, like your sodium vs. water intake or depending on the time of the month or even the weather can play a role. I weigh myself everyday but only track one day on MFP.

That's funny, I ate my first lean cuisine in a long time today (5-cheese rigatoni) and they gained a customer again. Im vegetarian so I can't try yor suggestion but the one i had today was delicious. I am going try some more vegetarian ones.

I'm in! Normally I'm not into the challenges but I really need that extra push this month.

Try the sugar free creamer. It's lower in calories and try and reduce how much creamer you put in your coffee. If you want it a little sweeter still put some splenda in it.
