Although I do not have the osteoarthritis, I do have pain in my knee, hip, and lower back occasionally. The one constant is that the weight I gained, did not come on me overnight or in a week. I'm in the same fix except I take meds for bp and have sporadic knee, hip, and lower back pain. I'm 58, but getting close to being a senior and desire to get there as healthy and fit as I possibly can. Add me as a friend.

I know what it's like and that's why I decided to give MFP a try out. I used to enjoy dancing, playing racquetball, biking, and walking/hiking. I am in the same fix. I want to lose the extra baggage that is unhealthy and making me to look like a beached whale. We can do this. I am also newbie to MFP and joined yesterday.
