  • I try to work out 5-6 days per week. Super crazy weeks I might only get 3-4, but I try for 5-6. Typical week is 3 Zumba classes, a step class, and two days of circuit weight training. I need at least one day of rest per week, and sometimes two if I'm exhausted.
  • Frosted strawberry poptarts are always around my house because DH and DS eat them on a daily basis. I cannot eat them because they are a trigger food for me.   • I would change my shoes. Shoes make a huge difference in a lot of workouts, but especially running. I have running shoes, I have zumba shoes, and I have cross trainers. You can go to a running specialty shop and get fitted for shoes that can really help with the shin pain.

  • I think it's crazy the difference that different body-shapes wear different sizes. I'm 5'5", 155, and a size 8. I'm very long legged with a booty, but thin thighs.
  • I'm 5'5", small framed, but with very long legs (I have a 33" inseam.) My goal is 140. I've been as low as 128 in the past, but I looked sick. My husband would start force-feeding me. lol At 155, I am comfortably in an 8. The smallest size I would want to wear would be a 6.

  • Try adding a small amount of baking powder to your flour (whichever type flour you use.) The baking powder will help them firm up. Also, medium temperature for several minutes (7ish) on each side. Look for the bubbles to start to pop. DO NOT TURN TOO QUICKLY. This will cause a gloppy mess. HTH!
  • Alot depends on the kind of music you like. I personally couldn't listen to a lot of hard rock. I like country, but could never work out to it. I listen to a lot of upbeat Top 40 stuff.
