I'm 5'10" and am at 177 right now and about 13% body fat (estimate). I'm settling anywhere between 170-180; more importantly is dropping BF down to 9-10% in the next few months.

Same here. I'm an ice cream guy and rice cake guy every night. Caveat being: it needs to fit my macros and calories (which I make sure it does) by tailoring what I eat throughout the day for that night-time bliss.

Homemade Rice Krispy treats and these oatmeal caramel delight bars that my grandma makes. Especially freshly made and slightly warm...it's kryptonite.

"Low calorie" is somewhat relative, but to me a few of the standards...eggs or egg whites, chicken breast tenderloins, lean ground beef, lean ground turkey..cheese is another but not quite as much protein for the calories relative to the others.

As others have mentioned, Optimum's 100% Whey is sort of the standard for fast-acting protein which is what I have as well. I also incorporate a scoop of casein protein by ON as well for more of a slow-absorbing protein as well. High quality products.

I weigh everyday - right in the morning after I wake up and eliminate any liquid waste. That is the only one I consider "official." And, I only log it in MFP if it goes down from my previous weight. Sodium won't make or break weight loss, but it will help retain more water to some degree. Beyond weight loss, excess sodium in your diet can create other peripheral concerns.
