  • You are all amazing and beautiful people. Inspiring and highly motivating. I am working on the project to document what motivated obese individuals to overcome weight loss challenges and keep going. Can you share what was your key motivation, please? Mine was fear. I don’t qualify for you group because my start point was…
  • It can be done. I lost 91 pounds and I know for sure that weight loss can be achieved with no exercise and without feeling hungry.
  • That it could be done: - without paying for services - without buying products - without exercising - without portion control - without calorie counting - and most important, without feeling hungry.
  • I follow the basic formula for weigh loss. I consume fewer calories than I burn and it really works for me. My solution is to eat food that has a lower calorie density and a high volume of nutrition. I base my food intake around vegetables, fruits, skinless grilled chicken breast, fish and whole-grain breads (one toast a…
  • I'm curious... @mrk34, did you have to have the heart surgery? No, I didn't, and I discontinued high blood pressure and cholesterol meds.
  • You don’t have to exercise to lose weight. I lost 91 pounds without exercise. I didn't count calories, either. It was fast.
  • Weighing myself every day and seeing results kept me motivated. Also, knowing that I wanted to lose weight more than anything else.
  • Lots of Romaine lettuce and spinach plus some tomatoes. I add some chicken or turkey breast to avoid being hungry. Also apples, blueberries, and blackberries. Works for me since 2010.
  • I share what works for me here: https://www.facebook.com/ilostweightyoucantoo
  • One example that applies to my case is planning meals in advance. Preparing and cooking healthy meals after work can be very challenging. Preparing meals while being hungry is difficult and may not always lead to weight loss success. When I am hungry I want to eat rather sooner than later. In addition, when I am hungry I…
  • Fast weight loss with no exercise and without hunger is absolutely possible. I did it. I lost 91 pounds and have been maintaining for two years. You will have to change what you eat and keep it this way, otherwise the weight will come back.
  • Change what you eat. That’s how I did it and I lost 91 pounds without exercise. If interested, I shared my experience on this non commercial, no selling page: http://ilostweightyoucantoo.com/
  • When I started losing weight I injured my knee and had surgery. For 12 months I could not exercise but kept losing weight. The role of exercise in weight loss has been wildly overstated. Exercise is great for our physical health and state of mind, and for preventing weight gain in the first place, but it has a…
  • Weight loss can be achieved without exercise. I lost 91 pounds by changing what I eat. Exercise has a small effect on weight loss.
  • Of course it’s possible. When it comes to shedding pounds, it is what we eat that counts most. I lost 91 pounds by changing what I eat. Physical activity (unless done vigorously like a professional athlete) is a minor component to the economy of weight loss. Exercise is great for our physical health and state of mind, but…
  • Losing weight can be done without feeling hungry. Hunger is the most significant problem with weight loss. Weight loss attempts that result in hunger are not that successful. It is hard not to eat when you get hungry. It goes against our human nature. When we get hungry, we tend to want to eat more. The feeling of an empty…
  • Blueberries, blackberries, or apple. 1 slice of dry, 100% whole-grain toasted bread with 1 slice of 99% fat free turkey breast. 1 fresh tomato Hot tea (no milk, no sugar) 1 capsule of Omega 3
  • It can be done. I lost 91 pounds. If you can change what you eat and how you eat, you will be able to lose weight, too.
  • No single approach, formula, or plan for weight loss can work perfectly for every person. We all need to do what works for us, not for others. I believe that there is nothing wrong with sharing of what works. I posted what worked for me. Eating breakfast the way I described helped me lose weight without exercise and…
  • Fantastic. Please share what method you used and what worked for you best.
  • Thank you. Your three posts clarified this issue to me. I would not expect identical improvements, but the way I understood the person I spoke to, was that I would not get any improvements at all. I liked the Rio context. I guess she might have meant to communicate to me what you posted, and I probably misunderstood it.…
  • I agree. Your husband’s views and your recommendations are so right. I did not communicate clearly. I meant that if any form of exercise had any impact on the weight loss, it would be running. However, generally the exercise impact on weight loss is not significant. I attempted to start running two years ago, when I was…
  • I believe that running is. Resistance training is great for improving strength and increasing lean body mass. But if you are overweight, and you want to lose weight, aerobic exercise is the better choice because it burns more calories According to the study published in published in the August+ 25 issue of the American…
  • There is a story about the person who eats non-healthy foods, joined a gym and exercises there twice a week. In her post at the Houston Chronicle website she reported that after 8 months she lost one pound. Here is the link: http://blog.chron.com/goodmombadmom/2011/03/i-lost-weight-and-you-can-too/#comments
  • People who exercise don’t necessarily lose weight. Exercise is fantastic for health and overall wellbeing. Incorporating it into your life is a good thing. The role of exercise in weight loss has been wildly overstated. When it comes to shedding pounds, it is what and how much we eat that counts most. There are certain…
  • Ops. I am deleting my post because I responded to the question in the topic. After I posted it, I noticed that you asked about specific one brand.
  • I don’t eat "exercise calories" back. Consuming "exercise calories" on purpose doesn’t make any sense to me. I don't create calorie deficit to waste it by eating additional calories. I lost 91 pounds.
  • blueberries, blackberries, or apple. 1 slice of dry, 100% whole-grain toasted bread with 1 slice of 99% fat free turkey breast. 1 fresh tomato hot tea (no milk, no sugar)
  • I would not change your routine. I run in the mornings and do not eat anything before. Just drink a little water. I do the same on the race days and it works well for me. What is your PR now? Taking off 3+ minutes from 5K time is a very challenging goal. Please share how you did after the race. Good luck tomorrow.
