Whether something is a snack or a meal its still food, of course you can have healthy snacks just like you can have unhealthy meals. I purposely eat less calories at meals so I can eat snacks so I don't go long without eating something and I've lost 56lbs consistenly over less than 8 months. Anyways, my fave low-cal…

Your % loss is 0.5%. Its lbs lost divided by SW x 100.

Congrats to the great losses so far in the previous posts. So for week 1 I lost 3lbs and wiped off 1.6% of me which is more than I did for the whole of February. After losing so little in Feb I think my lost might be accelerated a bit so i'm not expecting to lose so much in the next few weeks. Starting Weight – 189 lbs.…

Thanks!!! I'll alter it for next time. I feel a bit dim now, when something is a bit obvious you can overlook it.

Big hello to everyone, such a great response its great to have you all join me in trying to lose 4% this month. I really hope this month will be good for all, look forward to seeing how everyone gets on!!!

My initial goal weight is 155 and my ultimate is 135 but think this too unrealistic so somewhere between the two would probably be ideal, but I would just be happy to reach 155.

Hi there, when you log onto MFP, on a PC, on your homepage to the left will be message boards tab. Click this and from there go to 'my topics' tab and your recent topics you've replied will be listed or on your profile page at the bottom will show all your responses. Hope this helps.

Not too sure what you mean.

Sure, thats fine. Glad to have you play along!

Yay I did it, 126.2 miles walked/runned. This month I ran my first 10k and walked my first continuous 10miles. I've done plenty of exercise this month but only achieved a weight loss of 2.7lbs but I contribute that to over-eating on many occasions. I hope to do much better in terms of weight in March. Starting Weight: 193…

Looks like I'm the only one left in this challenge, but I 'll continue solo. I did 28.8 miles this week and no weight change. I aimed to do more but missed one day at the gym so I will be doing catch up this week as I really want to get to 120miles this month. Starting Weight: 193 lbs (Wednesday 1st February) Week 1 – 30.5…

I like to do mine grilled with a sage rub and served with baked sweet potato mash, onion gravy and greens.

This week I did 29.2 miles and lost 2.7lbs!!! This is a great loss this week for me but I should also contribute it to a bit of cycling as well which I didn't include in my miles. The weather this week looks like it will be much better than last week so I'm going to try and aim to get more miles done this week. Starting…

Hi everyone, I hope all is well. So for the 1st week I got in 30.5 miles and lost 1.4lbs. I had planned to do a bit more but there has been a spell of bad weather that has deterred my intentions. Starting Weight: 193 lbs (Wednesday 1st February) Week 1 – 30.5 miles and 191.6 lbs (Wednesday 8th February) Week 2 - xx miles…

I was just on their website (uk) on the weekend and the nutrition info for the powder was for semi-skimmed milk. I'm not on the plan but have a shake from time to time. Boots the chemist is selling the powdered drums half price this week so I'm gonna try this as I usually get the bottles.

Yesh this can count. I do this exercise but have no idea on what the distance is. I've been inside more due to bad weather but yesterday was using a 1 mile sample of Leslie Sansone's walk at home that is available on the website so will count this towards my total.

I'm just under 5'8" and my first goal weight is 155lbs but my ultimate is 135lbs but think this might be too unrealistic for me personally. Somewhere between 155-135 would be ideal for me. I'll judge it as I go. I'm currently about 192lbs, starting weight 242lbs.

Hi everyone, so my starting weight is 193lbs (I've put on 1lb since Sunday :( ) and I'm hoping to get down to 185lbs by the end of the month. I started today with a 4 mile walk and hope to get some bigger miles done at the weekend. Starting Weight: 193 lbs (Wednesday 1st February) Week 1 – xx miles and xxx lbs (Wednesday…

Oh no I put on .3lbs since Sunday so I've lost 7.8lbs for the month. Good start to the year and I hope to get similar each month. SW - 200.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 1) Week 1 - 198.2 lbs (Sunday Jan 8) Week 2 - 196.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 15) Week 3 - 195.5 lbs (Sunday Jan 22) Week 4 - 192.7 lbs (Sunday Jan 29) Total lost - 7.8 lbs…

Thanks everyone for your response. Some interesting replies. I definitely agree with those who said planning meals ahead and dedication. Wish everyone continued success!

Hi there, if your in ireland I'm betting that you use km instead of miles which is the same for me. Just take note of your distance and convert it (1mile = 1.6km) which I have to do when I'm adding to my diary. I know there are some devices that you can use on the treadmill but I'm not too up on this.

Incredible result! Success stories like you keep me motivated no end. Can't wait to lokk half as good as you! Congratulations x1000.

Something like cajun spiced chicken with avocado and tomato salsa, I would do. Goes great with sweet potato if you want some carbs.

Nice tip. I use an app called routes that I save my favourite walks. Pedometers are great too but stride changes all the time as I slow down and speed up, so I don't rely on it. Glad to see more people looking to take part.
-
Hey, that would be great if you were to take part.

I think the benefit is gained when the water is warmed on an empty stomach. Some sort of cleansing effect but I'm not sure

It took around 25lbs before I got my 1st notice from someone (but I was on summer break from uni so I didn't see anyone familiar for 2 months) and about the same amount before I dropped a dress size.

As popcorn is a favourite cinema why not bring in a pack. You can get a x6 30g pack of butterkist popcorn from £land. There 125kcal per 30g pack. That way you don't feel boring in the cinema with your fruit but still virtuous that your not stuffing those ridiculous sized tubs for so much money.

2.8lbs down this week. I had a few big burns this week so I guess it paid off. Hopefully I can the start the year off good by losing the other 1.9lbs to hit 10 but I was only aiming for 8, so I'm chuffed by my loss so far. SW - 200.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 1) Week 1 - 198.2 lbs (Sunday Jan 8) Week 2 - 196.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 15)…
