Did NMTZ last night and it felt downright easy compared to JMBR. 7 & 8 really kicked my behind last time I did them. I think tonight I'm working backwards and hitting 5 & 6 again.

I eat about a third to half of my exercise calories back.

I think people turn to food after grief to feel fulfilled. A good show that tackles this from time to time is "Supersize vs. Superskinny". Watching others do this has made me guard against doing it myself. I also saw my mother do this. It's really no way to live.

When I was sloppy with my diet, I was a sucker for red velvet cake. I'd allow myself a slice or a cupcake if it were made well and available and I could work off some of the calories at some point during the day. . :)

I just finished 7 & 8! Had to modify some of the plyometric stuff due to my downstairs neighbor but...wow. The jackknife crunches and walking planks were very intense. I just tried to keep it moving through the circuits and gulp down water constantly.

I always weigh myself Sunday night. I just weighed myself again this morning and now I'm 138.4....that's two pounds less than last night's reading! I think I'm going to start recording my weight once Sunday night and once Monday morning from now on....just to get a clearer picture. I must be fluctuating with water weight.…

Running my fastest time on Friday and noticing that I have to keep pulling up my exercise shorts while I'm running because they're getting too big for me.

Thanks for the advice, I may start doing that. For now I've just been eating foods that I can keep consistent caloric measurements of (servings per package, etc.) Maybe I'll drop the oil down to a teaspoon in the meantime.

Thanks guys. My diary should be open now. I'm not near PMS but I took a pain medication last Sunday before my last weigh in and I'm wondering if it dehydrated me before I weighed myself last week. I'm not going to despair though. I trust the process...

This show is great, and so prolific. I started it at the beginning of my weight loss journey and I can't believe I'm up to Season 7. It's got lots of great information about nutrition. The British perspective, the science, and the reality TV angle is really compelling.

I log right before or after a meal. I think, like some other posters suggested, that I might pre log in the maintenance phase. Apparently it helps with discipline and reconsidering extra treats.
