I drink lots of Diet Coke. For a time I was off of it I lost about 10 pounds of bloat. I’m going to try to go off of it again, and substitute with Diet Crapple iced tea. I was slimmer when I did that and I had the same caffeine kick but none of the carbonation. The downside is that Diet Crapple is dearer and usually more…

I found it effective but couldn't do it in the long run...found it too hard on my joints and not enough warm up time. I preferred Body Revolution, lost almost 30 pounds doing that and running.....my body was looking great and the weight routines made me very cut.

Ok so I went back to Body Revolution. BodyShred DID torch some calories but I was nervous that not enough focus was spent on form and I was worried about getting injured doing BodyShred, plus I did feel pain in my knees. Plus I felt burned out on it and like the BR cast dynamic a lot more. Currently I'm doing JMBR #11&12…

Well I did Day 2. It was okay, easier than 1. However, I think I'm going back to Body Revolution. I just liked the style better and I felt it more. Maybe I'll revisit Bodyshred in the future.

You can add me too! I'm 40 and lost almost 30 pounds 2 years ago and have been able to maintain by using this site.

I usually do 2 BR workouts and then skip a day or two, rotating among the challenging ones (#6-12). Today I thought I'd do BS 1&2 and found that I could only get through 1. It was even more cardio and plyo than BR, and faster change ups, HIIT-style. I'm going to try to do #2 day after tomorrow, and generally try to do only…

I'm a longtime fan of Body Revolution, got in sick shape with those workouts & I still use them. I just got Body Shred and will be starting tomorrow. I'll probably start with 1&2.

I like a high protein breakfast, packed full of high density protein cereals, yogurts and/or smoothies. Gram for gram they keep me satiated and less likely to snack throughout a busy day.

I eat some unhealthy things sometimes, lately it's been like playing with fire. I should really stop buying BBQ chips because they're mostly empty calories, but the taste is so addictive. As long as I'm budgeting them into my calorie quotas, and eating healthy most of the rest of the time, I feel okay fulfilling the…

I don't think there's any validity to this premise across the board, but I guess it could arise in different situations.

You look awesome and more importantly sound like you feel great. Way to go!

I go to classes with trainers who inspire me or I go for a trail run and focus on being out in nature. I also do silly tweaks that only I would notice like putting colored stickers on my calendar to represent different types of workouts (circuit training, spin, or a run). This gives me an overall picture of how active my…

Yes after but not before a circuit training or a spin workout. Occasionally I'll do 20 minutes of a post-runners yoga sequence. If time and mood allows, I'll do a 30-40 minute yoga sequence, but to be honest not that often lately due to time.

It took me a pass through each of the seasons - summer, fall, winter, and spring - to adjust to a fit mentality. But I adopted it early on in my journey as a way to visualize success throughout the journey.

Do an hour of cardio every day or two every other day and make the workouts intense and productive. Do High Intensity Intervals (HIT) training and cut your calories by 200 as per MFP directives for 2lbs. a week. You should drop maximum weight efficiently.
