  • Oh geese you guys, totally ostrichising you all from my friends list.
  • Hey, I'm 6', my goal weight is 160. My current weight is 230, though, so I have a lot more to lose than the OP.
  • MONDAY QOTD: How have you lost weight so far? What is your workout routine and eating plan if any? I started running, which I've never actually done before, and some strength training exercises too. As far as eating goes, right now all I'm trying to do is sort out my snacking. I usually eat fairly healthy meals anyway, but…
  • Well I am all in favour of not feeling like a child molester so #2 or potentially #1 if you're not too bad to start with. I'm actually amazed at the number of women who are all about being shaved as the general consensus amongst my female friends is that it's just too weird. Hair anywhere on guys is acceptable and…
  • ^I know right! In work out three of 30DS she won't shut up about Natalie's bum. The more I did the work outs the more strangely attracted to Jillian Michaels I became. I don't know what this says about me.
  • I agree with whoever it was back on the first page that mentioned you see what you want to see. So I'm pretty sure she's totally sexing Natalie in the showers after the 30DS workouts.
  • When I had a plateau that lasted a month I just kept increasing my exercise gradually and modifying my diet. I didn't try any shock tactics to force my weight to move. I just knew that my hard work would pay off eventually as I started to build on my foundations. Then it was kinda like someone popped a cork and I lost 8lbs…
  • Currently I jog 2.5 miles every other day after walking a mile each way to get to the start location. For the first part I'm doing C25K (I'm starting week 7) and then run at my own pace for the rest of the way. I do level 3 of the 30 Day Shred on off days for the sake of keeping active. I'd love to pick up a new sport but…
  • Yeah, I think everyone is right about it being a lifestyle change. I also think because I don't have a real goal date to reach my ideal weight by that I can accept that these things don't happen quickly, and I'll be happy as long as I know that I'm making progress.
  • I've donated blood once, but doing so was such a ridiculous hassle that it was pretty off putting for ever visiting again. The first time I was refused because I'd had a piercing within the last 6 months, though they still kept me waiting for an hour before telling me this. The second time I actually managed to donate, I…
  • Agreeing with the masses and going with Closer. Recently I've thought that 'Tremendous Dynamite' by The Eels would be an amazing stripper song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HOsgrvXWQU).
  • Some actually quite good tips there. Not all the obvious/patronising rubbish you usually get with these things.
  • Nooooo I want in on this challenge so bad, I am the biggest horror nerd :c. I'd love to be on some kind of reserve list if there is one.
  • Ahahaha you must be insanely disillusioned to think the UK isn't already fat. Approximately 1 in 4 adults here are obese. If you don't believe me, check out the section on the NHS website on the matter.
  • Pfft I only get hit on by ugly strangers in the real world. Compliments from my boyfriend, however, are like parrots that crap diamonds: valuable, elusive, and overall awkwardly forced out.
  • I have millions of pet hates. The only site topical one I can think of is people that have already lost weight, and feel a need to rub it in your face at every given opportunity. My mum lost a lot of weight a few years ago, and relished in saying things like "oh these clothes are far too big for me now, but they might fit…

  • Because losing weight shouldn't be about another person involved. If you want to lose weight because you feel your partner will appreciate you more, then it should be a secondary reason, not a primary one. It should also not be because you feel pressured by your partner to lose weight, and instead they should simply be…
  • Heya, will you be contacting people if they've not made it in to this round? Thanks =].
  • Daaaamn, cruelest thread. At least I can't actually access twinkies very easily as they don't really have them in the UK. I've only tried them once when I visited my mum in America. They were pretty good, but there are better things out there.
  • I don't know why you're all laughing, diet drinks are a serious issue over here. They're the number one cause of alcoholism, drug abuse, and knife crime in this country. The diet pepsi vs. diet coke gang wars have become so extreme that people are too scared to leave their houses for fear of being caught in the crossfire.
  • Hey, my name is Collette. I've really wanted to try out one of the challenges on this site and this one seems pretty appealing to me. I've just broken a one month plateau and really want to keep things rolling, and would love a partner to help me push through.
  • What type of jeans did you try on? Jeans come in so many different shapes that you have to choose ones to match your body type. You could try some with a higher waist line, they tend to be more flattering for muffin top issues.
  • I've always wanted a tattoo for when I get to my goal weight. The tattoo I have in mind is very specific and would take a lot to explain, but I've been planning it for about two years now. Another tattoo I've recently been toying with the idea of is getting a 'victory dinosaur'. My running buddy and I go alongside the…
  • Exactly this. Speaking as someone that has had several relationships with people that I've met online, you can never truly know someone until you meet them face to face. Not to say that a relationship that starts out on the internet can't work out of course, but if the majority of your relationship occurs online as opposed…
  • C25K is an awesome running program. There's loads of people involved with it on here, including myself. Here's some information about it if you've not already heard of it. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
  • I have no doubt that William Shatner would be the kind of person that would love to talk about his own ****. I mean, it's in his name and everything.
  • Haha, the first line of the original post took me totally off guard. I think I just love your "hey guys lets talk about poop whatevs" attitude. Slightly off topic and maybe a bit of a hijack, but I have heard that colonic irrigation is supposed to be pretty good for your digestive system. If you can stand the embarrassment…
  • When I was at the beginning of my teens I said I'd never get to 170lbs. Considering my goal weight is now 160lbs, I'd say that certainly changed.
  • Well I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing you're looking for, but it is at least vegan. This is the result of one of my many 'thrown together' cooked salads, and is definitely one of the best tasting ones. This is the first time I've written a recipe out, so bear with me. It's really pretty simple to make. BUTTERNUT…

  • Most vegetarian substitute meats contain lots of protein. Eggs and dairy products also contain lots of protein. Quark is an awesome cheese which is really high in protein and low in fat/carbs.
